Sharon and Charlotte at the Bridal Lounge Northallerton could not have been more friendly, attentive, helpful and welcoming. From the moment I stepped in their lovely shop I felt comfortable and looked after. My sister and 2 of her friends have bought their dresses from the bridal lounge and they came highly recommended. I would not have wished for anymore than what they gave me and how they treat me, my family and my bridesmaids. Nothing was a bother to them and no matter what I asked of them they were ALWAYS happy to help. I have no idea what the previous post was about, i definitely disagree with it and I would advise everyone to ignore it!! Fantastic customer service, very flexible and reliable and a lovely shop!

Sharon & Charlotte @ the bridal lounge Northallerton could not have been more helpfull from my first visit to my last, i got married on Sunday and my dress was perfect as were my bridesmaid dresses,we were treated very well at every meeting, we did not experience any of the above that has been mentioned by the previous poster. I would reccomend the Bridal Lounge Northallerton to everyone. I will add that my bridesmaid used their shop two years ago and had the same 1st class experience.

Our experience with The Bridal Lounge in Northallerton and their other shop Brides of York has been a nightmare. Apart from the initial smiles and promises (which turned out to be false) both women owners behaved in a rude and arrogant manner from the moment the bill for a very expensive wedding dress was settled in full. We were unable to arrange an initial fitting or to select bridesmaid dresses, they said they were just too busy ! We had no option but to collect the dress just to inspect it and try it on and to buy bridesmaid dresses from elsewhere ! (where, by the way, we have been treated with nothing but respect and good manners).

The two owner / managers of the Bridal Lounge Northallerton and Brides of York then refused to arrange for alterations saying that once the wedding dress had left the shop, they felt no obligation to their customers. Their manner was very intimidating and very upsetting.

Steer well clear of this, quote : family run business offering a personal service : end quote. Once they have been paid in full, their interest level drops completely as they move on to the next sale. For a dress shop selling such high quality products, we were horrified at unprofessional way in which they behaved. Shop around, you are certain to find the service you expect elsewhere.
