The Bridal Gallery, Finedon

What a breath of fresh air - after having been to several bridal shops where I was made to feel like a bit of a nuisance, it was so refreshing to discover such a beautiful shop with absolutely fantastic service. The staff/owners made me feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their collection of gowns is fantastic and the shop is truly beautiful but the thing that really makes this shop stand above the others is the first class service.

Walked in and shop owner was friendly and helpful until the bride that was in the shop trying one of the dresses on walked out of the changing room. I was just left standing there for 10 minutes without being acknowledged at all as the owner literaly ran to the bride's side interrupting me and I eventually walked out. Is that really professional?

I visited the Bridal Gallery in February 2008 - shortly after it opened. I didn't have an appointment and just dropped in with my mum as we were passing. It was the first of many shops that we went to and was a great start to my dress shopping experience.

As it was mid week, there were no other customers in the shop. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and offered a glass of champagne. I was really nervous about trying on dresses as I am a size 14 and thought that none of them would fit or look good.

The lady I dealt with put me at ease straight away. She gave me such lovely advice. We ended up staying in there for about 3 hours. I tried on lots of dresses and didn't feel rushed or pressured at all. The shop is beautifully decorated with a fabulous selection of high end gowns and accessories. A real gem and highly recommended.

Exceptional service. It felt like we were in the company of friends.
