I am so pleased with everything I got from Silk Road Bridal! My dress was more beautiful than I dreamed it would be. I had tears in my eyes when I looked in the mirror. It took about 8 - 9 weeks for everything to be made, shipped and arrive, but it was worth the wait, and I felt like a child at Christmas!!! I was initially worried when the tiny boxed package arrived (it was about the size of 3 cereal packet boxes) - I couldn't possibly comprehend how everything that I ordered had been fitted in to it! I thought to myself "oh poo, there's bound to be items missing!" But, to my amazement and surprise, when I opened the box, I realised just how expertly packed everything was. I felt a bit like Mary Poppins pulling it all out!!! Although the dresses will need a slight steam press due to creasing, they were perfect. The embroidery and beading were exquisite, the stitching so neat and tidy. All dresses were made of a lovely, thick quality satin with a lining on the inside, and the organza overlay on my bridal dress was adorned with the most beautiful detailed embroidery, beading and faux pearls. It's just breathtaking! The price was fantastic also! There is no way I could have afforded everything I have got if I had gone to a bridal shop. I will certainly be recommending this ebay shop to anyone getting married. Even the website shop is easy to use, and the pictures and descriptions are detailed and clear. Unfortunately, the pictures of my wedding dress don't do it as much credit as it deserves, as it looks 50 times more gorgeous in real life, as you can really see all the fine, tiny details and beads! My advice to anyone considering using this ebayer would be "go for it". I think it's beneficial to try various styles of dress in a wedding shop so that you know what shape, colour and style suits you, then, once you find something you like, look online and find something similar. I did this, and not only did it mean that I had no disappointment when my dress arrived, as it was a style and fabric I already liked, but it meant I had some fun and excitement trying on loads of dresses and veils in the shops!! I am very happy, and I can't wait until the big day now. I just hope my lovely groom likes it as much as I do!

I bought my wedding and bridesmaid dresses and accessories from this ebay store and was amazed at how wonderful they were. The quality was second to none, the price was unbeatable and the service was impeccable. The dresses were made with real bridal satin, had hand sown swarovski crystals and came made to measure. The best thing was that the wedding dress only cost £250 (it would have cost me over £2500 if I bought it from my local bridal shop) [this was £149 for the dress and shawl (this was for buy it now but you can bid on dresses from £79), £18 for the petticoat, £14 for the veil (but she sometimes adds in a free veil with your dress) and the £75 delivery charge (this is for the dress, delivery is free for the smaller items if you buy them at the same time as the dress), items are made and shipped from Hong Kong]. The bridesmaid dresses cost £59 plus £26 for delivery for the first dress and £15 for each additional dress. They also make flower girl dresses, evening dresses, and bolero jackets, faux fur capes, matching cravats, dolly bags, purses and veils of different lengths. If need be they can make your dress in 6-8 weeks. To get creases out I hung it up for a few days and then ironed it on the inside, with a cool, non stick iron and a piece of cloth on top (i.e. a pillow case). I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this retailer to anyone, especially if you are trying to fund a wedding on a tight budget.
