Rookery Manor Bridal Dress With A Hole
Massive selection of great dresses and pleasant and helpful staff.
However after my wife bought a dress from them and had it fitted and went for a last fitting a week or so before the wedding day the dress went for final fitting and then my wife picked up the dress a few days before the wedding and was told not to try on the dress or take it out of its protective cover as it had just been steamed and was pristine for the day.
On the big day my wife put on the dress only to find that the dress had not been finished properly and that there was a gaping hole in the back of the dress showing off her bum. After contacting the shop they did not know why there was a hole and so one of the brides maids had to use the hotel sewing kit and get up inside the dress after just having her hair done and try to sew the dress back together and use safety pins. After ruining her hair and creasing the dress while trying to make an emergency fix the day went ahead and my wife had to keep popping into the toilets and a bridesmaid re-fixing the dress so that she didn't expose her self during the day which meant she missed out on the awesome live music from our uncle and other great parts of the day.
We went to see the ladies in Rookery Manor Boutique and they gasped as they looked at the state of the hole they had left in the dress for my wife to ware on the day, though offered no refund or any kind of compensation for supplying a dress unfit for purpose.
We have subsequently written a letter and sent e-mails and have had no response from these people.
So unless you want a dress with a hole in it or worse with no care in the world afterwards either (as if having a dress with hole in it isn't bad enough) then DO NOT USE ROOKERY MANOR BOUTIQUE.
