Once in a Lifetime Bridalwear, Milton Keynes

Wow. Just wow! I had been to a few bridal shops before this one and didn't realise how different service could be! They were so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She first asked what sort of style of dress I liked and then said let me get you some and I'll put in a surprise dress that I think will suit you in there as well. Well, I tried the dress on that she had chosen for me and was sold straight away! She was amazing and had such an amazing eye that she knew what would suit my figure. There was no hard sell either so with that I put my purchase in! Amazing place and will tell everyone I know who will be getting married about this place!

I found the shop had something for every type of bride whether traditional or contemporary and I certainly didn't find it difficult to find my dream dress!

I found the lady had a keen eye for the styles, offering her opinion as well as listening to my own. The changing rooms were spacious and the chief bridesmaid was able to try on her dresses as well.

The staff were amazing, helpful, charming, they listened, knew their stock and were very professional.

They put me and the family (my mother!) at ease and we had a fantastic experience.

I had limited time to the wedding and they were very accommodating. I wish I had also organised the bridesmaids dresses from here too.

I had a very, very different experience with another company, which highlighted how fantastic this business is.

The staff at Once in a Lifetime are extremley helpful. They welcomed me the minute I walked through the door. On a couple of occasions I didnt have an appointment, and instead of sending me away (Like alot of other wedding shops would do), they offered me a drink, explained that I would have to wait a little while and allowed me to look at all of the dresses and accessories on offer.

When I did have an appointment I was seen to striaght away and I had the staffs FULL attention. They listened and provided me with everything I wanted. They were honest when I asked for their opinion (which is more than helpful) and also introduced me to some other styles which I hadnt even thought of, (you'll be amazed at the amount of dresses which look naff on the hanger but fantastic on).

If you are looking for a bridal shop where the staff will look after you from the minute you walk through the door till the second you walk back out again, then Once in a lifetime is the place to go.

I cant tell you that they have the best dresses, as everyones taste is different, but I can tell you they have a huge range and the staff have the patience to allow you to try on as many as you would like.

I agree with the previous reviews that this is a very spacious contempory bridal shop. However at the same time I found it somewhat unwelcoming and what I can only describe as a clinical feel to it! It did not feel warm or welcoming. The lady looked very reluctant to help me despite the fact that I had made an appointment. She did not acknowledge me at first and then left me alone for around 10mins before she finally came to talk to me. The dress trying on was very hurried (no hoops were put on under the dresses so I had no idea on how they draped) and I got the impression that she was not bothered at all with trying to sell me a dress. She did not listen to any of my requests on the type of styles I liked and selected some quite awful looking gowns!

Overall the lady showed a complete lack of interest which I found slightly odd as surely should she be making evey attempt to sell me one of their gowns!

I felt quite upset after leaving the shop as everyone had told me what a lovely experiance it would be trying on wedding gowns...I certainly didn't have a joyful experiance.

I have purshased my bridesmaid gowns from here and the quality is second to none. Nothing else we looked at in any other shops even came close.

Beautiful shop with an amazing range of designers.

It is expensive, but the prices reflect the quality of the gowns, the designers they stock and the service you receive.

Fantastic shop with amazing dresses at great prices. The whole experience made me feel so special, the beautiful shop with it's huge private dressing room made me feel as if I was the only bride in the world. The lady was so supportive and helpful - nothing was too much trouble and we were never rushed. I would recommend a visit to this shop especially if it's your first time trying on dresses as the whole experience was like no other. The bars and restaurants around the shop are all now open so it is the perfect location to go and have some lunch with friends whilst you ponder over the delightful dresses you have just tried on.

A marvellous experience all round, they really made me feel special.
