Losners, St Albans

If possible, I shluod like to be there. Maybe it would be an opportunity to advise TStA on progress of the CDA’s Community Garden project. We’re excited about this – and perhaps the Green Drinks Special will also give me an opportunity to get ideas about how we can make it an even better resource for people living in St Albans.(BTW, I’m unaware of any evidence of any significant increase in either temperature or precipitation in recent years – let alone that such change as may have happened was caused by human activity.)

After going to many shops, searching high and low for my perfect dress, I looked at the review for Losners St.Albans and nearly didn't go there, but I'm so glad I did! My appointment was today Saturday 21st May, at 10am, the shop was busy and I thought maybe they wouldn't allow me to try on a lot of dresses because of this, but they said "it's not a problem at all!" I couldn't see exactly what I wanted in stock, so I described to the lady what I thought would suit me. Almost magically she returned with exactly what I had described, from a company in Australia. It is the dress of my dreams and everything I have been searching for, for months! I found the girls at Losners to be the most professional and knowledgable of anywhere I have been. I asked them if they had seen the pessimistic reviews on the site and they all said they "found it very upsetting; but, considering they deal with hundreds of brides, every now and then somebody may be displeased or perhaps other unethical shops writing reviews about them." (Which I'm sure gets done a lot of the time!) I cannot rate this shop high enough, if there was ten stars I would give it that! They made me look fantastic, everything a bride should feel when trying on wedding dresses. I am so happy I went to Losners, as did another girl i work with who was also delighted. I hope this good review of Losners is helpful to other brides looking for their dream dress; the choice is vast and the assistance is impeccable.

I have visited over 10 bridal shops, this was by far the WORST EXPERIENCE I left in tears, the staff are rude and made me feel like I wasnt welcome, every bride should be made to feel special, dont visit this store.

I have been completely let down by Losners st albans -The sales assistants are arrogant and appauling . Zero customer service. They argue with you and make you feel its your fault. My issue was that 4 weeks before my wedding THE DONT HAVE MY DRESS !!!! I AM A MANIC DEVESTATED BRIDE WITH NO DRESS !!!!!!!

Please do not use this store.You will regret it. I have. 4 weeks to find a new dress and I didnt receive 1 call from them .I did all the calling .

Losners St Albans are abismal!! I ordered my dress at a wedding fayre. I tried on a size 10, which was marginally too small but when they ordered my dress they ordered me a 14 (I am a 12 at most). Despite my raising concerns about this they reassured me that it was better to get a bigger size and have it altered. Went for first fitting on thurs and the dress swamped me, but when I asked if I could have the dress taken in they told me that it didn't need it and that they couldn't do it anyway. They were rude and dismissive and couldn't cars less if I was happy with my dress or not. Once they had my money they didn't care. AVOID THIS SHOP at all costs!

I ordered my wedding dress from Losners St Albans last December ready for my wedding this December. After buying my dress I came home and found all of these negative reviews on this site. I was worried and started to panic that my dress wouldn't be delivered etc. I have to say that I have had the most EXCELLENT service from Losners!! From the very first time I went in they were helpful and made me feel very special and important. My wedding was changed to September in the end and after calling the store and explaining that my dress was needed earlier, this was no problem for them whatsoever and they ensured that my dress arrived in August ready for fitting. I had 2 fittings at the store and both times were excellent and I was listened to and again made to feel special!! I collected my dress after my second fitting and it fitted perfectly and had been altered to the upmost standard. They also helped me to find a veil to go with my dress and again this was ordered and delivered with no problems. I would just like people to know that this a great bridal store and I am so so happy with what Losners did for me. I would recomend that brides give this store a go!!

I have to say that i knew after my fist appointment at their st.Albans branch i was confident that i would find my perfect dress at losners. They are often very busy which is a slight downfall but i can understand why. i got a full hour long session with one of their assistants and she answered all of my questions. they still have to alter my maggie sottero dress however the big day's not till March, so i shouldn't be too worried. they provided me with a very professional and yet friendly service and my assistant, ann, was an absolute star!! they are a very professional company and want all of their brides so walk out happy.

There are a few of you who see this as a chance to absolutely slate the company, my experience as well as the other thousands of costumers who bought with losners was incredible simply don't see what can posses some of you to write what you have you have to understand their point of view too.

everything i have heard, whether it be from friends or just the people in the store on the couple of occasions i have been has been wonderful.

Went wedding dress shopping last Saturday to Losners in St.Albans and have to say I was treated by some of the most professional staff that I have come across while I have been looking for my perfect wedding gown.I been to several different shops this one was definately by far the best. Wonderful selection of dresses , superb fitting rooms and the lady that dealt with me was a real star, I had so much fun trying on their beautiful dresses, listening to her advice and guess what..... I found my perfet dream dress at last after 3 months of shopping, wish I had gone there first.

My mother, my sister and I arrived at Losners in London(Stanford Hill), and we were greeted warmly by the staff. A lady took all my details and those of the wedding, and then took me through the whole of their range. There was no pressure to try dresses I didn't like, and we narrowed down what I fancied trying on very quickly.

She was supportive and patient throughout, and she was really helpful about sizing and details.

My dress was the last I tried on - I just knew it was for me! I'd seen a few others that I thought I really liked, but as soon as I tried on 'The One', I fell in love with it. I'd said that I didn't want a veil or any of the other trimmings, but she placed one in my hair, and it finished the look perfectly.

The dress was rather expensive, but it was worth every penny.

If you visit this store you MUST listen to the staff - they know exactly what they're doing.

Stay away, once they have your money you can forget about customer service. Any issue will always be your fault!
