Said they would fix my Sisters dress but never did. Found out on her wedding day that the beading was missing even though we were assured it would be done last winter (said 2 weeks before the day it would be done). Went back to query and they said it had been checked. More or less implied she had unpicked it! The shop owners measure you for alterations and the seamstress does them. This meant it was too tight and they wanted to charge us again for their mistake. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend.

I feel l must write this review to say what a pleasant experience my daughter had choosing her bridal gown from this shop Brides of Leigh,

The staff were lovely nothing to much trouble the gowns are all protected in see through bags so very clean. We were not rushed and were made to feel we could be there all day if necessary. When the gown arrived for the wedding the alterations were carried out on the premises and the dress fit perfect. We could not rate this shop higher. Thank you

Only interested in the money once final balance was paid they held us to ransom with delivery date and the time scale for olterations was 12 days which took us to 3 days before the wedding very aggressive after a lot of tears from the bride to be we had to get in trading standards keep away or or distroy the build up to your wedding

I had visited quite a few shops before going to Brides of Leigh and they should have been my first.

The staff were really helpful and nothing was to much trouble, warm friendly and really lovely my daughter looked wonderful in the dress she choose, the 4 bridesmaids were over the moon with their choice. I felt we were treated very special were not rushed. A very nice shop.

I bought my wedding and bridesmaids from brides of leigh, also my sister bought hers 4 years ago, the staff are brilliant and cannot do enough for you. The service is second to none, we would recomend everyone to try them they donot rush you, and are quite happy for you to come back after you have thought about the different dresses you may have tried.

I and my sister had a really wonderfull time and tell all our friends to call in to see for them selves

I ordered my wedding dress thinking it was my dream dress and at first everything seemed as planned and organised and helpful when I was in the shop as soon as your deposit money is paid they are horrible to you treat you very unfairly and make you feel awful and worried. They pester you for the remaining balances for any dresses ordered even before trying them. When my dress arrived it was to my suppose to small at this point she asked me to go away and "loose weight" after this my bridesmaid dresses I had ordered and paid the deposit for had come In the same week and I was told I urgently needed to go in and pay the money without seeing the dresses. These people wouldn't know good customer service if it smacked them in the face I am appalled by the way they have treated me and my bridesmaids every review I have read was exactly what I have been through all true. DO NOT TRUAT THESE PEOPLE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. Also to add the dress was a bad rushed quality when It arrived with bits hanging off it and it being shoved in the bag.

As a first time bride the excitement of trying on dresses is immense. I had all my wedding party with me to share the experience. Wishing I hadn't bothered!

The middle aged lady was rude, unresponsive to what I asked and made me feel that as I was in a dress size 18 the 2 dresses she showed me would 'Have to do' as nothing else will fit me in the shop. I was embarrassed and wanted to leave immediately.

The only good thing about this experience is that this was the 2nd shop I had visited. My first bridal shopping experience (and where I am purchasing my dress from) was AMAZING!! The lady took her time, made me feel beautiful and took her time to choose several types of dresses for me. One Special Day in Astley I cannot recommend highly enough!!!

Bride's of Leigh! Respect and Value your customers disgusing and word of mouth spreads

Went to brides of leigh for my first experience of bridal dress shopping. The lady was rude and unhelpful, she did not listen to what I liked and forced me to try on dresses I had already said I didn't like. She was very dismissive and almost uninterested in our business. Not a way to make a girl feel special at all!

I used this business and they were that obliging I used them again for my daughters prom.

I would recommend them to anyone as attention to detail was spot on despite my tight deadline.

The work they did was priced very reasonably- unlike some...and was beautifully done. ( I had a bolero made to my specifications)

I booked in at Brides of Leigh one Saturday afternoon they stock some

Gorgeous gowns no one can deny that! However my appointment was an hour slot

She was so rushed to get me in the changing room I didn't have time to browse the rails first!

So then I was trying so so dresses on the lady was choosing.

Literally as soon as the next lady arrived they had no time for me!

That would be my only negative would recommend booking during the week x
