Having Read The Other Review I Became Quite Nervou
Having read the other review I became quite nervous about my own gown which I had ordered earlier this year but fortunately my experience was completely different.
As I had ordered in late March for a wedding in August thye asked for an additional payment to cover the increased overhead of managing a short order and they warned me at the time that the dress may arrive fairly close to the wedding.
My dress arrived 10 days before my wedding and from that moment forward the store did everything they could to ensure I would feel very special on my big day. Although I was concerned the staff assured me everything would be fine and it was.
Obviously everyone is different but I cn't think of anything else I would have liked them to do apart from selling the gown at half price :)

The Wedding Was Abroad. We Went To Order The
The wedding was abroad.
We went to order the dresses in January. We were measured (but it turns out this was a waste of time!) and told the dresses would be in store in June.
The dresses arrived late and the store was unable to fit us in for a fitting for another week leaving it just over a week before some of us flew out.
The store sent one of us to buy a bra in order that she could be 'fitted' properly (once again a total waste of time and money). The dresses did not fit being way too big in the bust and too long (by about 6 inches for me). I looked like I was 'swimming' in the dress. They said it was because I had lost some weight (which I had done because when they ordered the dresses they recommended I lose a bit just in case). I had certainly not lost any height though and if I hadn't lost the weight I would not have been able to do the dress up!!! The other bridesmaids had not lost weight and their dresses did not fit either.
They said they would do the alterations but each dress would cost another £100 (more than the initial price of the dresses). Not only that but because they are only open 2 days a week there would be not be enough time. When I asked if they needed to take the measurements again they said they 'cut the dresses on' and we would need to book and pay for a full fitting. I thought that is what we had already done but apparently that was 'just trying them on' (so why the expensive bra purchase and the measurements back in January?).
Now we either have to pay out more than the cost of the dress for alterations or try and find a dressmaker who is available to do the work in less than a week.
Very annoyed.
Since reading other reviews it seems that late arrival of dresses that don't fit so customers are forced to pay Berketex inflated prices for alterations is a common occurrence.
Don't buy from them (but if you really need to for whatever reason then give the wedding date of at least a month earlier than the real one so you have time to find your own seamstress).
