My daughter and l both had our dresses made at Annette Carey.

Both Emily and l found Annette to be incredibly intuitive and always seemed to know exactly what we both wanted.

l have to say we are going to miss going up to london for our fittings as they were always the highlight of our weeks.

We both found the whole process of made to measure incredibly easy, and l just wish l had known about Annette when my son got married as l wouldn't have so much trouble getting an outfit.

l cannot stress enough how beautiful my daughter looked in her dress and how wonderfully Annette brought to life all the details that Emily wanted incorporated into her finished dress. The fabric, and the way the dress fitted was just beautiful and worth every single penny, and more!!!

As mother of the bride l knew that l had to live up to Emily's expectations and Annette surpassed this with her very clever corsetry which was sewn inside my dress. For the first time in years l have a waistline which l can hardly believe, and moreover l feel incredibly comfortable wearing it.

l cannot thank Annette and her wonderful team enough it has been a real pleasure!!!!!

I had a special occation dress made for my 2 year old by Annette, the dress was fantastic and my daughter spend the whole day thinking she was in a fairy tail. Getting her out of the dress was a bit of a pain as she did not want to take it off. The care Annette took was exceptional and she made sure the dress was everything I wanted. I purchased my dress from Annette Carey for my wedding in Dec 08. I cannot speak highly enough of Annette. From the moment I walked into to the shop to collecting my dress the service was faultless. When looking for my dress I visited over 10 bridal shops & can honestly say that Annette has an amazing and varied selection of the most beautiful dresses. Annette is amazingly helpful, friendly & knowledgeable, giving me loads of handy wedding hints. I would recommend Annette to anyone.

My Wedding Dress experience with Annette Carey was excellent, as a new bride I did not have much to go on but found my whole experience like a fairy tale. During my fittings no-one else was allowed into the shop unlike other places I had visited and my fittings were always arranged around the times I could make it as I had to travel from Stevenage. We got married abroad and Annette just seemed to know what exactly what I wanted and what would work well with travel and wearing a wedding dress in the heat, Annette made me feel like the only bride on the planet and designed me the most perfect dress in the world.

When I started planning my wedding I had so much to worry about but the only thing I didn't worry about was my Dress. I would not just recommend her but say you would be mad not to use her.

Annette Carey made me the most beautiful wedding gown along with four adorable bridesmaids dresses this summer. My family and friends said I looked beautiful and I felt beautiful. Annette put me at ease and made each appointment fun and relaxed. My bridesmaids felt like little princesses and wear their dresses at every opportunity-I wish I was eight years old and could do the same! I'm not normally a dress sort of girl but Annette made me feel so amazing in my wedding gown I have since ordered two evening dresses. I had my bridal gown made by Annette Carey Couture this summer & loved every moment of the experience, Annette was fantastic throughout all of my fittings and gave me lots of great wedding advice. The dress was absolutely beautiful, I wish I could wear it every day. We had a wonderful wedding day, where so many of my friends and family complimented me on my dress. I felt like a princess. I would recommend Annette to anyone.

My friend had a similar experience at Annette Carey. I was a bridesmaid and went along to several fittings. My friend became increasingly frustrated that Annette could not make the dress fit. She wore it in the end, but in some of the photos you can see that her dress was far too wide around the bust, too tight in the waist. Shame when a dressmaker is so careless. I am now getting married myself, and will definitely aboid Annette like the plague.

I had a terrible experience with Annette Carey. She never did the agreed work before a fitting, and then lied to us about having done it. From the first fitting, Annette stopped being the sweet self that she presents to potential customers who are yet undecided, and was unfriendly and rude all the way through. After five fittings taking an hour each, the dress still did not fit at all, and she agreed that she would have to rip it apart and start afresh. That was 6 weeks before the wedding. It never fit in the end and I had to get a local dressmaker to sort it out a week before the wedding. She seemed to blame me for not being able to make a dress that fitted me because it is difficult to make a dress for a slim girl who nevertheless has a bust. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy. She also charges very arbitrary prices - she offered the "Ice" dress to me first for £2000, then for £1600, and I have seen others on the Internet say they purchased it for £1,200. So if you must buy your dress there, then bargain hard on the price.

I would have to agree. Annette Carey Couture made my wedding dress and the whole experience was magical! It was worth every penny; you get a very special service and a beautiful and unique dress at the end of it.
