Ann and Bobbies, Bathgate

We visited the shop looking for bridesmaids dresses and left with a wedding dress as well. The staff were 100% helpful and very patient during our visit. We had a day to remember. The selection of dresses is fabulous and would recommend the shop to anyone who is dress shopping.

Further to a review I wrote recently on poor fit of ordered dresses, I took my Grandaughters flower girl dress to a dressmaker to be altered & it is costing £40 to have the dress taken in & shortened, all through the assistants poor advice on sizing so I suggest you don't go there but choose a shop which has facilities for alterations to be done.

Went to this shop to order flower girl dresses for my two Grandaughters, staff seemed ok although the shop is a bit shabby & there were not many dresses available to try on however we decided on one of the styles & on their advice re sizing, ordered two dresses which we went for today. The fit of the dresses was awful although the style is lovely. One is far too long (at least 4 inches & too big on the bodice & they do not do alterations, so we will have to go to a dressmaker & pay for alterations to be done , the other dress is too short & so nothing can be done about the length. My advice is either do all the measurements yourself or buy online direct from China at a fraction of the cost & having done the measurements yourself you will be sure they fit. Also look at the back of the receipt, or should I say, Contract! as they cover every eventuality so they are liable for nothing. A very poor shop with staff who have no idea of how to measure properly to ensure a proper fit.

arrived and asked if I could look at dresses was looked up and down by staff told no as a bride was coming in with bridal party to try on dresses so wouldn't be able to and was told it was Saturday there busy day left shop discussted by the way I was treated went to other shop got made feel welcome from I entered shop couldn't ask for any thing better treated as a person would not reccomend this shop at all

I bought my wedding dress so so happy, staff are just delightful very helpful so many dresses I like but only tried on 3 and found my perfect dress, it was a dress I would not of gone for but on the suggestion a member of staff I tried it on and WOW! I was in love became very emotional so so happy. My dress was in the sale rail too so bought it more less than half price which is a huge bonus as I did have a budget. So looking forward to wearing my dress on on my wedding day.

I could not find any fault with the customer service from the staff in this shop. They took time to look out different styles of wedding dresses for me. Nothing was a problem. If I didnt like the styling on one they would find an alternative. Same with bridesmaid dresses. There was no heavy sales pitch at all. I found them very pleasant and helpfull.

I left the shop feeling confident that I had found the dress I wanted without being pressurised into anything I was unsure about.

Will just have to wait and see now if they deliver the goods on time and that they are the correct sizes, as I have read a lot of negative comments from other customers regarding this.

I went to Anne and Bobbie's at the start of September having no clue what I was looking for, the girls there were so helpful. The girl helped explain the different kind of shapes to me and offered to pull a few different ones out while I looked to see if anything caught my eye. There was one dress the girl had picked out and inside I was thinking 'on yuck' but as soon as it was on I just knew it was the one!! I was nervous on making a final suggestion so me and my bridesmaids decided to go for lunch, after lunch I went straight back and put my deposit down. Since then I have phoned a couple of times to ask questions and everytime the girls have been very helpful and down to earth. I will definately be recommending Anne and Bobbie's to all my friends!!!

They have a good selection of dresses but I found it hard to have a good look around at everything they had to offer.

I purchased my dress and got 25% off which was a bonus. They have a lovely selection of tiaras and bridesmaid dresses but they never had any boleros or capes which is what I really wanted as I had a christmas wedding. Had to source these else where.

Plenty of parking near by available.

Myself and my 3 bridesmaids went to anne and bobbies on our first day of wedding dress shopping and the selection of dresses was good - they are kept in bags which is fab for anyone buying off the peg. I found a dress i LOVED but didnt want to be too hasty and left the shop with the details not feeling pressured at all. After going to numerous other shops and being less than satisfied with ethier service or range, i went back and bought my dress, Its been a couple months now and any questions ive had the staff have been fab! cant wait to see my lovely wedding dress again soon :)

My daughter chose a Ronald Joyce dress.We could not fault the staff they were friendly,helpful and there was no pressure to buy.Great value for money.

We also bought Forever Yours bridesmaid dresses.

All dresses arrived earlier than expected.

Delighted with the service.
