The dresses that are said to be tailored specifically for people are not and the customer service is appalling. Most of the designs are not unique as advertised and are copied from other designers. Also, many of the dresses are machine made and not hand made as stated by management.

I received an excellent service from amazing brides. I am going by my own experience and I can honestly say everything was perfect and for a great price too. I bought my wedding dress and 2 bridesmaids dresses from here of which all 3 are in perfect condition and I am over the moon about. My cousin also bought her dress for this store and had no problems at all, she also bought bridesmaid dresses there too. I must admit I am more than happy with the service I received there and the politeness I was treated with and despite the closing of amazing brides I still received my dresses as promised on time in perfect condition. I really have nothing bad to say about Bev or her store.

I visited amazing brides a year ago whilst visiting almost every other bridal shop in west yorkshire. It was here I found 'the dress' and proceeded to make my booking. I paid almost £650 deposit upfront for my made to measure original designed, hand made lace dress. I recieved a phonecall yestetday to be told I needed to cone and collect my dress as the shop was closing down. I had recieved no fittings or had even seen my finished dress. I went to the shop this morning to speak to someone to be greeted by the delightful Bev who told me that I was to pay the remaining £650 before I could take it and it had to be today! I was unsure as I hadn't seen it, had it fitted or recievedany kind of service what so ever. I asked for a refund which I was refused and when I said I might just leave it n go somewhere else she threatened to sue me. I reluctantly paid the money and took the dress. I got it hone and was horrified to find not only did the dress not fit me it was too small, and the 'original design' and 'hand made' gown came with a tag with size 10 100% polyester!! So my over thousand pound lace hand made gown had been ordered in of the rail from somewhere, cheap as chips but no quality. I am heartbroken! ! Fortunately for ne I have 8 months left but my dream dress is now no longer and I am forced to start looking again! I am 100% taking this horrible wonan to court and intend to get all of my money back plus compensation and I want all the help I can get. I brought my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from here. As soon as the dresses arrived in the store there where so many problems with them. Bev the owner was so nasty to us and nearly ruined our wedding. My dress didn't fit properly and part of it was missing. I know loads of people that have had horrendous problems with them. Please dont let them spoil your big day!!!!

As me and my partner are getting married next year we decided to go to a local wedding fayer to get some ideas...this is when we had the misfortune of stumbling across this vile company. On 1st impression everything seemed ok, maybe a little pushy and persistent to get an appointment out of me but i just passed it off, thinking that maybe this is what it's like at wedding fayers, nevertheless, i went on to book an appointment with them for the following weekend.

The day of the appointment arrived and i was very excited at the prospect of MAYBE finding my perfect wedding dress, i was accompanied by my Mum, my Sister, Mother in law, Sister in law and my 4 year old niece.

Firstly we found it odd that the door was locked and we had to be let in by the shop assistant, but again we just passed this off, maybe it was a security issue? Once we were all in the shop i was asked to pick out dresses that i liked, i asked everyone that i had bought along with me to pick out a dress each for me.

I tried each one on and finally tried one on and mistakingly said "I love it"...that's when everything changed! This is when the manager came out (who i had not seen once the whole time we were there) she immediately started taking my measurements and writing up what seemed like a contract...Not once did her or her assistant ask me when my big day was or what my budget was and more to the point, they hadn't told me how much the dress was yet they were taking my measurements and writing up some sort of contract.

The manager, Bev, took me into a little sideroom and simply said "the deposit will be £650 please?" I just could not believe what i was seeing or hearing...i was so taken aback i just didn't know what to say. I replied with "I'm sorry but I'm still shopping around and would like to speak to my Dad 1st as he is paying for my dress" and just when i thought i had heard it all she then handed me the store phone and said "you can call him from here" i have never felt so pressurized in all my life.

Needless to say i left the shop and said that i may return at a later date, mistake number 2....later that day i was hounded by phone calls from Bev.

1 week later i received a phone call from them, which again, i ignored, but this was followed by a .txt message saying that the dress that i had fallen in love with had been reduced down to £500 as they couldn't afford to make the dress anymore and had been discontinued....i found this very odd, but at the same time was very tempted...i spoke to my partner who said that if i really wanted the dress he would pay the deposit that day but i just couldn't see past the horrendous customer service i had received.

And then low and behold, there they are, months later on my tv, on watchdog!! Hope they get what's coming to them, i was lucky and didn't purchase a dress from them but there are allot of brides out there that have had the.ir big day ruined by this vile person.

Just bought my bridesmaids dresses from this shop, my chief bridesmaid tried her dress on and the zip didn't even do up, we've had to pay for a new zip to be fitted, the dress didn't fit right and sticks out on the chest, Bev blamed my bridesmaid and said she must have tried it on backwards.. ridiculous!!!

We had to pay in advance for alterations and then they tried to get us to pay again saying they had no proof we had paid the alterations fee, until she found a tiny slip of paper in our file with the word ''paid'' on it!!

I recommend going elsewhere for your dresses girls!!!

What can I say? They made the most beautiful dress I've ever seen, very unique designs, first class service and very friendly staff (even with my mum asking numerous questions).

I would definitely recommend this to any bride to be.

Fantastic shop, Amazing Brides came highly reccomended to us by a friends daughter who got married 10 years ago !. The store has a fantastic selection of unique gowns and the staff are wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and gave us great advice. Needless to say we went to lots of shops before visiting this one but none of them compared or even came near to this shop or their designs ( Fab !). They open late nights and Sundays too which suits us. I would def go here first girls save your legs and time, you will not be dissapointed !
