Allstars American Limousines, Northiam, East Sussex

I booked a limo from Allstars American Limousines in March for my daughter and her eight friends to their prom at the end of June. I booked for 1 hour. I was told that they would be getting a 16 seater, be driven around and get soft drinks. The driver arrived looking moody and sulky, did not seem polite, the limo they got was an 8 seater for 9 of them! They all felt squashed in. They were given bottles of cheap tesco's water, they were not driven around, dropped off 20 minutes early, when my daughter asked what was going on was told there was something wrong with the limos breaks! They apparently did not want to give a refund but my daughter would not get out of the car and managed to get just £40 back. We paid £280 for 1 hour but got 40 minutes so I feel the refund should have been a total of £90! They were dropped off well before anyone else arrived for the prom.

I telephoned the company and informed them that they had ruined my daughter and her friends prom which they had been looking forward to for months. The person I spoke to seemed very rude to me. I asked why they had been dropped off early and not driven around as arranged and he said that there was a break problem with the limo. When I asked for a refund he apparently put the phone down on me, I kept phoning and he eventually answered saying in a seemingly sarcastic manner that we must have got cut off. No refund given as of yet.
