We had a fantastic day, everything went so perfectly and the day was topped off beautifully by your stunning cakes. I had an image in my mind of how they were going to look, but I have to say they were a million times better than I ever could have imagined, everyone commented on them and ever since the day itself I've had nothing but compliments on both the look and the taste of them.

The tower of cakes looked stunning, and once they were put into their little pink boxes and given out to everyone, I could see the look of delight on everyones faces.

We discovered Planet Cake at the National Wedding Fair. Having spoken to a number of the leading pastry chefs and cake companies, we were highly impressed when we visited Rachel, the founder, for a personal consultation where we were able to sample a number of different flavours. After meeting her to discuss what we had in mind, there was no question in our minds that she was extremely professional and dedicated and would be able to create our dream cake. Planet Cake are also exceptionally great value for money.

Our wedding was in the beautiful Lancaster Ballroom at The Savoy and we wanted a cake which would look visually magnificent in the grand ballroom setting. Rachel was extremely patient and creative in coming up with a design that achieved the elegant look I wanted to achieve. Rachel’s artistic talents meant that she was able to create a cake for us that surpassed any cake we could have imagined. Rachel is without question truly gifted. Our wedding party of 200 fell in love with her regal cake design and many questioned whether such a beautiful cake could be real. They were pleasantly surprised to discover that in fact the cake was as delicious as it was beautiful. The ivory 5 tier cake had different flavours of coffee and walnut, raspberry and vanilla, fruit, chocolate separated by layers of elegantly arranged ivory hydrangeas and roses. The entire cake was consumed by our guests and not even one slice remained, which was a great testament to how delicious Planet Cake’s creations are!

Rachel was consummately professional throughout the meeting, tasting and planning stages of the process and the cake outstripped all of my expectations. The colour matching to our theme was perfection and the mixed flavour layers went down well with all who tried them. We searched & searched & visited wedding fairs, caterers etc looking for the wow factor we wanted for our wedding, 5 weeks to go still not found then whilst out in a coffee shop my now hubby starting trawling websites on his blackberry & asked if I tried Planet cake ? it came up in a google search near SW1 our reception venue . We exchanged mails , few phone calls, met Rachael following week for tastings & design & agreeing

We choose mini coursage - chocolate cupcakes, & mini iced fruit cakes it was simply to die for, mouthwatering as some of my guests siad. piece of artwork some was how the iced fruit cake was described shame to eat it ! Overall exceptionally efficent flawless service truly unbelieveable
