The Chester Studios Were Always Prompt And Polite.
The Chester Studios were always prompt and polite. After the job was done the results where disappointing, especially as top charge was made. The majority of photos had poor composition although some were good. The quality of prints was also poor.
This is a very sad story - such a big day and no way to re-take the shots! I wonder what the photographer's excuse was when you expressed your disappointment and presumably requested several thousand pounds in damages? The moral appears to be: Always check your photographer's portfolio; ensure that he will not delegate the work to another photographer; and have a friend or family member (good at photography) shadow the photographer and duplicate everything he does. If, for any reason, you have decided not to go to court then I recommend that part of your demanded settlement be that the photographer shoots a truly professional range of photos of you and your spouse. Good luck to you both! P.S. I love Chester but have never returned following two intensive traumatic periods of Law School there in the 1970's! (Christleton Hall)
