Disaster. What A Joke.

Horror is the only word that can describe my family's experience with Val and Pristine Pictures on one of the most important day of our lives. From the beginning to the end, it was a huge disappointment and a constant struggle.

1. Being made to drive an hour to her house FIVE times to discuss plans is absurd. She refused to even meet half way. Told us to meet her at the pool because she was relaxing. Professional, right?

2. She accidentally used a polarized lens during the ceremony and ruined those pictures. She ended up having to use her assistant's pictures. OOPS.

3. She screamed at a family friend for getting in her way while he was trying to film the ceremony. The funny thing is, we have this on tape. SO rude.

4. Valerie's pictures are pictures that ANYONE can take. There's no creative eye at all. She makes everyone pose. If she missed a moment, she'll make you reenact it. She interrupts people for the sake of taking a picture. We had no natural pictures... it was all posey. Fake.

5. Pictures were off center, some out of focus.

6. When it came time to receive the pictures, she didn't filter ANY of the bad ones. She basically handed over a disc with every single picture on it. Test shots and everything. It was left up to us to sort through it and pick out the

They Said They Would Have Someone Else Working Wit

They said they would have someone else working with them and they didn't. Missed some key photos and we had to repeat the event to get the picture. They were always in the way which drove all of us crazy, I just wanted someone to capture my big day and to be able to enjoy ourselves while doing it. I found them very expensive and I took us a while to get the album because we had to drive more then a hour away to meet with them.

I would agree with most of the comments and say, do your research, pick a big company that does this full time not part time. I think I would have spent the same amount with a large company and I'm sure it would have been done in a more professional manner.

Hardly Any Pictures Were Taken Of My Daughter Duri

Hardly any pictures were taken of my daughter during the wedding. I HAD to ask the photographer from Pristine Pictures to take pictures of my daughter with us.

During our photo shoot for the engagement pictures and after we signed a contract, we were told that the photographer needed to change film, and it would be an additional $30.00.

The storybook - YOU have to put it together. During our wedding, we hardly had time to socialize with friends because we were constantly dragged away for pictures that were not that great. We hardly have any pictures of everyone at the wedding. We have a few, but I wish she would have taken more of the people that attended.

After comparing her work and prices with FULL time photographers, I would invest my money in a company or a person that does this as a full time job and that is professional. Not a part time person.
