Unimaginative Portrait Pictures

Originally bought a Groupon voucher for this independent photographer based in Waltham Abbey, Essex. I was originally attracted by the contemporary family picture advertising the voucher but subsequent to our sitting, saw the same picture advertising another photographers and realised it was a standard library picture.

The photographer pushed for us to upgrade to his standard package of £99 for the sitting, which we agreed to in order to receive all the session images in high resolution on a disc. Despite asking, he refused to deduct the sum already paid to Groupon on the basis he didn't receive any money from them (hmm!) Therefore, I proceeded to order the two prints included in the deal, although I would have preferred not to and paid just £99 in total.

Poses were unimaginative, he only used and old fashioned sitting pose and lying down on elbows, regardless whether it was sole or group photos. I thought I was going to get a nice contemporary set of family photos but they were so drab we only printed one family picture to display.

My ordered prints took 3 weeks to arrive and then I was asked to collect them. As I live half an hour drive away I asked the photographer if he would post them to me, he blankly refused saying he could not afford to. It would have cost £1.20!

Overall this business lacks enthusiasm and the imagination required to be a good photographer in the 21st century. Post sales customer service started well and we received the cd timely. However it deteriorated thereafter.
