The Chedburgh, Whitley Bay, Nr. Newcastle

I stayed 11 nights here on business and was extremely impressed with how helpful they were. the breakfasts were spot on and plenty of it. The shower was good and my room a decent size. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well every night. I would recommend this BB to my friends and family and I will look forward to going back.

It can get a little noisy when busy but on the whole not too bad.

terrible hotel, beds were solid, failed to mention it was a shared shower/toliet for the landing. rooms were grubby and very small, holes every where, tv had terrible picture, teacups were stained from not been washed, the heating was also turned off thru night making the rooms absolutly frezing. when we arrived if it had not for paying so much woud have went elswhere. avoid completly

This place is a lovely place to stay, very clean and well decorated.

Louise is lovely and makes a great breakfast!

The room was quiet big, with 1 double bed and 2 single beds and a sink, then there was a small and purposeful shower room with toilet.

The only very small thing was the double bed was a bit firm for my liking, but I do love a squishy mattress.

The location was excellent, with street parking, 2 mins walk from town and same to the coast where there is some lovely restaurants.

Very clean and well maintained, rooms are modern and have good decor. Nice little LCD TV, something you don't find in many B & B's. Great Breakfast & very hospitable owners.

The Chedburgh in Whitley Bay, Nr. Newcastle in my opinion is a great place to stay if you are going to Whitley Bay for the weekend. Great accommodation, great facilities and great service! Visit their website www.chedburgh-hotel.co.uk to see what they are like.
