Most of us today in our fast-paced world have lost an appreciation for a personal standard of quality when it comes to entertaining. I’m bringing finesse back to life by introducing exclusive catering services for any kind of life celebrations private and corporate events. My Personal Chef Service offers chefs, bartenders, waiting staff hire and full catering service, for the entire England area. The food is being sourced from London Food Markets where all the best restaurants are being supplied from.

This was an altogether awful experience.

A representative called at my door offering all sorts of fish packaged in boxes in his van. As I like fish a lot I was persuaded to buy a box of monk fish fillets at £60. The box contained roughly 6 largish fillets (ca. 1.8kg) which I was assured are nicely trimmed of sinews and shock frozen, i.e. no water contained in the fish.

Well, this was entirely not true! The fish contained a lot of water and was just about half the size (and weight) once defrozen - it also showed then that is was not trimmed at all so more of the "fish" had to be discarded to make it edible. In the end I had about half the amount of monk fish left (approx. 800-900g) so it worked out to be an extremely expensive meal indeed. Not to mention the cumbersome additional work to prepare the fillets.

Never again anything from those guys!
