I have a 2001 Focus SE....Awful car!! Brakes are horrible - they squeak and have to be serviced alot and it just eats up tires. I just got new tires 3 months ago and already this car has started eating them up to the point of making driving miserable because of the noise!

Man Oh Man, The Ford Focus Has To Be The Worst Car
Man oh man, the Ford Focus has to be the worst car in creation. I own a 2000 Ford Focus SE, and have had nothing but problems with it. Numerous recalls, had to replace the fuel line, eats tires, brakes squeal, it stalls for no apparent reason. When I first bought the car it would start smoking from under the hood, and just stall for no apparent reason, the wheels smoke, from just everyday driving, so Ford needs to really take the time to see what is going on with the car because it just sucks. The dealer lost the original set of keys which are about $70 bucks a key and told me that I needed to get a locksmith to get a new set when it was their fault. Man oh man, if there is anyone out there who is considering buying a Ford Focus, take my advice DON'T!
I hope I'm doing this right - I want to ask the person who replaced his fuel line what the "symptoms" were. My 2000 Focus wont start some mornings, especially when raining. It starts like it's about to turn over but just doesn't. When I put gas in it, it takes about 1/2 hour to reach the full level on the gas gauge. The problem is that when I take it to Ford, they say it starts up fine everytime so they can't do anything about it. Did you have the same problems?
