Grandstand Astro Wars Was One Of The Best Examples
Grandstand Astro Wars was one of the best examples of a fore-runner of future intergalactic shoot-em-ups we now enjoy on much more powerful consoles. Back in 1984, taking this game into school on the last day of school would really improve your popularity. This game was relatively in-expensive and quite robust. The game play, although now quite dated, was fun, exciting and required good hand-eye co-ordination. Basically, it is based on a 'Space Invaders' theme.
