You Can Always Tell The Best Advertised Toys, As T
You can always tell the best advertised toys, as they are the ones regardless to enjoyment, appeal or quality that are always sold out. Yesterday my daughter turned four, and all she wanted was Animal Hospital - Mobile Horse Rescue. In fact, she had been quite consistent on this matter for some months. Being not as organised as usual, my hunt began the day before, and after trying Toys'R'Us and Asda, I finally found one left in Woolworths. It turned out this was the easiest task when it came to this toy.
The next morning arrived and my daughters' eyes lit up as she unwrapped the toy she had wanted. We then proceeded to go through the normal rigmarole of actually taking it out of the packaging, which to be fair, is no more difficult than most toys nowadays. Next, we had to locate the batteries (3xAA) whilst I sat for a full hour putting all the stickers on this blank canvas that was meant to be the van. All the stickers were included, but the time involved was silly. Why couldn't the makers just have this done for you.
So, one and a half hours after opening the present my girl was able to play with it.
The toy itself has a lot packed into it. It is for aged 4 and up, but it has a lot of tiny pieces, so if you have smaller children as well, do be careful. It became pretty apparent though that the toy is not very well designed either. The doors of the van, although close over, they do not remain closed and frequently pop open. The movable parts of the toy are not of good quality, and without any intent, I am sure it will be broken very soon (ie. Thin card as animal carry boxes).
Overall, I think this toy is poorly made. On the other hand my daughter loves it, and she got exactly what she wanted.
