Silver Cross 3D - Jet Sport Standard Stroller

lovely pramette, i bought mine online, and have had absolutley no problems with it at all, although the pram mode is quite small and my daughter looked cramped at 5 weeks old its brilliant. she loves the space she has now for the forward facing mode, although some parents prefer to look at their babies.

Our 3d Jet Sport is now 8 months old and has broken for the second time. Tomorrow we are off to Mothercare to get it sent for repair again! On both occasions it has been that another rivet/screw has come out and the pushchair is locked in fold position. This is the worst pushchair I have ever bought.

Also the pram is too small. Our son out grew it at 3 months old and has therefore been the the pushchair facing away from us since then. We were not happy about that at all.

Positives - It does have a decent sized shopping basket at the bottom, the rain cover fits perfectly.

We had the Silver Cross 3D - Jet Sport Standard Stroller travel system for just 3 months when our fairly average sized son outgrew the pram mode.

We do not want him facing away from us in the pushchair this early. So we have had to use the Car seat, obviously this is not Ideal for him, we feel he has been robbed of his pram, so we have now decided to go and buy another make instead, and hope of selling this system. If this had a rear facing pushchair and/or a larger pram we would be happy with it.

There are some other niggles, when the Car seat is on the Pushchair, the whole system weighs a lot, also getting up and down kerbs with the carseat on is not easy due to the extra weight. If you could attach the car seat directly to the pram it would not of been so bad, but you have to sit it atop of the pushchair.

The car seat is realy easy to fit onto the Pushchair, and can be done quickly and easily on your own. The system folds up to a fairly small size, and would fit into all but the narowest of cars. You can store the system upright, which can save you a fair amount of space if thats an issue for you. The pushchair is a very large size, and seems fairly confortable.

I bought this pushchair in the sofia fabric which is limited edition and is a lovely charcoal grey, I opted for this one as loved the soft liner that made it into a pramette. It was fully demonstrated in the shop but I found it quite difficult to put up and down at first, it did improve and there seems to be a knack to getting it just right.

It can be made into a travel system with the ventura car seat but we didn't buy that as didnt feel it necessary as it already lay completely flat. On reflection it probably would have been handy to save disturbing our little girl for short trips.

This pram looks stylish and is value for money in comparison to some of the others available. I paid £330 for the pramette, liner, and accessory pack from a small independent shop. I have since learnt that silver cross products bought online are apparently not covered by silver cross warranty, so think I made a wise choice.

This pram/pushchair will literally see you through from birth, unless you're a complete pramaholic like me LOL in which case 14 weeks later you'll be looking for a new toy! I've now bought the silver cross pop stroller and am just as thrilled with that!!!
