Mothercare Nixi Pushchair

Same problems as previously mentioned really. My son is 11 months now and can't fit in the stroller as he's too big across his chest. (Dispite being on the small size for his age) He outgrew the newborn mode by 3 months so we had to put him in the stroller which was awful as he couldn't sit up in it properlly, and kept falling down. I wrote a letter of complaint to Mothercare and was told to take it in to the store and have it sent off to see if it was a manufacturing fault...which of course it isn't. Its a design fault. After speaking to the manager (who was really nice and helpful) she agreed that it was deffinatly to small for my son (who was squashed in with his shoulders touching his ears)and offered to exchange it for another.

Very poor quality pram, basket has broken and brakes had to be sent off for repair.

Totally agree with last review, parts have broken and recieved no support from Mothercare, totally disinterested. Car seat also broke whilst baby was being carried!!!!

Our 10 month old is also struggling to fit across the chest area and that is without winter coat yet.

We were crazy to buy!!

This pushchair has been a great disappointment - it wasnt that cheap to buy = £280 with carseat. Basically the size is the main issue - the supposed bassinette/liner you can put in for new borns only lasted up to when our son was 12 weeks old, due to length (he is average size 7lb born.) Now we are using it as stroller, same problem, size, too narrow across chest area, he is 10 months 21 lb's and cant fit in it. The back rest is flimsy and seems to crash down, we have been to Mothercare and they said they would send away for repair - but insinuated we had put access weight on it? Would not recommend Nixi Pushchair even though it looks pretty!
