Its Our Freedom !
Bought the Cosatto Duet Lite Buggy for my 4 month old and 3 year old . After a terrible few months Phil and Teds, I found it heavy to push and the straps for my son were awful and my son just hated the pushchair, my baby girl out grew the carry cot within 3 months but was unable to use the seat for another 3 months so I sold it as did not have the storage space for an unusable pushchair for 3 months. Then was given a Urban 3 wheeler side by side, wonderful to push but could not fit through my door and most shop doors.Very tiring as had to fold up prior to coming indoors so baby would be woken up id asleep. Finally went for this buggy option and my 3 year old son loves it and so does my daughter. Its lovely colours they both adore and my son is walking sometimes and its so easy to clip him in and out of as the front bar opens. Plus the straps are really big and even with a thick coat on my 3 year old has plenty of room. My daughter is long and there is still plenty of room in the back for her. The multi position seat is easy to use. I have tried buggy boards with my older children and hate them.
This buggy I have used on a train and bus and its great. Folds down really easily to and takes up hardly any room in a hall way.
Only fault is that in tight corners it can be a bit heavy to push and up kerbs have to sometimes give a bit of a push up but to me the plus sides weigh out that as I like to have freedom to go places with my 5 kids and this is definately the buggy we love the most. If your toddler was still needing a long day nap the front seat would uncomfortable for this as only has a small recline on it but would be ok for a quick power nap for a little one who only has a short nap anyway. For us though complete value for money and brilliant for what we need it for and the biggest plus the children love it.

Cosatto duet life tandem ready steady go...
Bought this 1year ago for a newborn and 2year old..had nothing but problems, you can't steer it unless you are super strong even sprained my wrist 3 times trying. There is no possible way to get it up a kerb, almost got run over once trying, wheels go different ways, brakes are too stiff to get on and off and i would not trust them.
I complained, cosatto took it back and put bigger wheels on it, this make no difference to the handling but now the footplate rested on the wheels meaning my toddler couldn't put her feet on it or we could not move. Complained again, sent it back and they admitted footplate was no good but still insisted wheels were fine, but they don't test these in the real world with kids, corners, kerbs and pavement.
Stood my ground and they agreed to refund the store I bought it from so I could get a refund from them or another pushchair, got my full money I paid for it and quite happily picked a new pushchair...
Reading the other reviews, please keep at them if your having problems, till you get a refund, !

I Bought A Cosatto Duet Lite Tandem For My Mum To
I bought a cosatto duet lite tandem for my mum to use when looking after my two children (15 months apart in age).
It was a very affordable option and if you're on a budget I suppose it would represent good value for money, but my honest opinion would be that you'd be better off buying a higher quality pram second hand instead.
The Cosatto was OK on good ground, for example in shopping centres but wasn't very manouverable for corners or kerbs. As others have mentioned it's very difficult to tip the front wheels up to get it up a kerb. I wouldn't have even tried to take it over rough ground as I know it would have been an ordeal. My mum and I both found it gave us back ache to use for anything longer than a very short trip and my mum eventually ended up using my main tandem pram whenever she had the children - this was a Jane Powertwin and was a delight to use compared to the Cosatto.
One plus point in favour of the Cosatto is that it collapses very easily and is very light and compact when collapsed.
In summary the Cosatto may be OK if you're looking for an occasional use pram but if it's for everyday usage I would look for something a bit better.

Hello there! I work for Cosatto, and we do take negative comments very seriously as we want our customers to be completely satisfied with our service and products. The Duet Lite is a very popular product so is unusual to hear such negative feedback, which has led me to contact our customer services team. I wanted to check who you have dealt with at the Cosatto Head Office as they have no record of your particular complaint? I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards

Strengths: Folds Down Very Small For A Twin. Is Ea
Strengths: folds down very small for a twin. Is easy to fold and unfold. price is tempting.
Weaknesses: very heavy! I was amazed at how heavy it is as looks like it wouldn't weigh nearly as much. Front toddler seat does not recline and back height is really too low for toddlers to rest head against and sleep confortably (my son is 20months and his head is way above it). Would also question whether back seat lies totally flat - I would say far too upright for a newborn, even in lowest position.

I Bought A Cosatto Duet Lite For My New Born Son A
I bought a Cosatto Duet Lite for my new born son and 15 month old son. 6 weeks later the straps in the front buggy broke. They were replaced but 4 months later the new ones broke. I think there is a safety ssue with the pushchair and am also having problems in dealing with the shop I bought it from and also from Cosatto as neither are willing to give me a refund. I'm scared to use the buggy in case it happens again and my son falls or climbs out and seriously hurts himself. Although it's compact, it's very heavy and awkward to use. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone.
I Got The Cosatto Duet Lite From Cosatto As A Repl
I got the Cosatto Duet Lite from Cosatto as a replacement for the you2 twin (that is a whole different story) I had a child just just turned 2 and one just turned 1 in this pram and I found it unbelievably heavy, I could lean all my weight on this pram and couldn't get it to tip to go up kerbs. The lock to change wheels from straight to swivel keep slipping making it near impossible for me to steer, I would not recommend this pram at all, I am using a single with buggy board instead of this until I can get a new pram!

Overall I Think The Cosatto Duet Litre Pram Is A G
Overall I think the Cosatto Duet Litre pram is a good buy. My daughter was around 20 months when I bought it and my son was 4 months and they did have ample room although if they both wanted to sleep at the same time it was awkward with the front seat not reclining.I think no double or tandem pram is going to be perfect but I think this one is a good all rounder and well priced with the rain cover included

It Is Very Heavy And Awkward To Manoeuvre, Especia
It is very heavy and awkward to manoeuvre, especially going up curbs. Difficult to lock when folded. Hood clasps very flimsy. Inner tubes in tyres pop easily, also wear down quickly - I have had my Cosatto Duet Lite pushchair for 5 months, and all grip has gone on the right hand side wheels. Toddler in front is very upright.
