I also think I must a have different buggy to everybody else! I love my Bruin Presto!
The material is fantastic, so easy to keep clean, the rain cover fits really well and the storage bag is very handy. The shopping basket is a vey good size and mine folds and unfolds with ease. It steers easily and I can steer it one handed.
I have only had a problem with the front wheels once - I removed them to get the buggy in to my sisters *tiny* boot and didnt click it back in properly so it nearly fell out when i went up a kurb. Lesson learnt! I always double check I have clicked them back in correctly and have never had the problem since.
Before reading these reviews I would have definitly recommended to a friend, now im not so sure - maybe they are made in batches and some batches have faults??

We Bought This Bruin Presto Buggy As We Thought It
We bought this Bruin Presto buggy as we thought it was robust and good value. But after 6 months of use have found the back right wheel is falling apart and is not straight. Went back to Toys r us and told they only give a 6 month guarantee on strollers. If it goes off for fixing and not deemed a manufacturers fault we will be charged for it. I was not happy. Asked where in the store it states they only give 6 months guarantee and told by the supervisor it does not state in the store this policy!
I was not happy and I am going to take this further with head office and consumer protection, they should at least give a 1 year guarantee on their own products or clearly display their 6 month policy in store, so you have the option then to go elsewhere.
Go to Mothercare instead found out they do guarantee their products for 1 year.

My Daughter Bought A Quinny For My Grandson Which
My daughter bought a Quinny for my grandson which i never liked. The reviews were all brilliant and yet we found it an absolute nightmare! I bought her the Presto Bruin to replace the quinny and have never looked back. It is much easier to fold, it has a shopping basket, the raingear fits better, it reclines to allow my grandson to sleep laying down instead of sitting up in the Quinny, the handle height is better (i'm an average 5' 4"). The Bruin is sturdier and don't need the buggy weights we had to have on the Quinny either. A definate thumbs up from both me and my daughter.

Bought My Babies R Us Presto In March 2008 Only To
bought my Babies R Us Presto in March 2008 only to start using it in June 2008.Took it back after having problems with the front wheels only to be advised nothing was wrong with them.Wheels kept jamming.Now i have a new problem,bar on the right side broke,where the pram fold,how i just dont know...Tried taking it back to Toys r us but because i have now lost my receipt,was told nothing could be done,.very very dissapointed as i feel they could have helped me as i would not be stupid enough to take a pushchair where i did not but it from.

I bought the pram in may 2008. I have taken it back to toys r us (with my receipt) and demanded a refund. The customer service assistant explained that even thought she believes that the wheels have come off, she has to send it off to the manufacturer to be tested!!! She done a quick test on the wheels herself (clicking them in and out), what good that done i dont know because it happens when going down a kerb. She admitted that they will probably send it back and say there is nothing wrong with the wheels and that if that happens she will just keep sending it back until they admit the fault! The thing is they could test it hundreds of times and the wheels may not fall off, as i can go for about a month of using it and they dont come off but they HAVE come off on some occassions and to me that is a safety risk to my child and i'm not prepared to use it if theres a chance it could happen again!!
If anyone is reading this and have had the same problem and have also taken it back to toys r us, can you please comment on my review to let me know what your outcome was and whether they have given you a refund. Thank you.

I Am On My Third One In 12 Months! The Screws Kee
I am on my third one in 12 months! The screws keep falling out of the 3 I've had, rendering the unit useless and leaving me stranded.
The brake mechanism has now been modified on the latest model. Just as well, because this worked for approx 3 months on the last two. I'm not convinced the brake won't seize if sand or dirt gets into the mechanism, but we'll see.

I Would Strongly Advise People Not To Buy This Bug
I would strongly advise people NOT to buy this buggy, the wheels locked causing the buggy to topple over forwards, this happened to my partner last week and had he not managed to catch the buggy my son would have been very seriously injured. Took it back to Toys R Us who refused point blank to give me an exchange telling me that it needed to be sent back to the manufacturer. They also tried to fob me off with some cheap tat loan buggy that didn't even have a hood!! Absolutely terrible customer service! I will never buy from them again and they most definitely have not heard the end of it!!

Have Had One Replacemnt Buggy And Now Exactly The
Have had one replacemnt buggy and now exactly the same thing has happened to the replacement - even the same wheel. Have had real problems with this buggy both have collapsed with baby in it!! and the girl in the store has suggested... wait for it heavy handling! Mmmm I often go off roading with my small baby! Very cross at my treatment by the store and dissapointed in what at the time i thought would be a good lightweight buggy that would be easy to handle as i am petite myself. They are currently offering no replacement or refund as i cannot find receipt. I would not reccomend this buggy to anyone - avoid at all costs. Definitely not worth the money and Toys R Us haven't heard the end of this! Members of staff we dealt with were very rude. I will not purchase anything from them again.
Have you managed to get a refund from toys r us? I'm in the process of trying to get a refund. i have my receipt but they want to send it off for testing.

On the whole I think Babies R Us Presto is not worth the £130 pounds I paid. I definitely would never advise anyone to get one, in fact I would go out of my way to advise anyone against buying it, even a stranger!!
