I Use Mediced For My 2 Children 1 Is 3 And The Oth
I use Mediced for my 2 children 1 is 3 and the other is 18months old, it works a treat for coughs and colds and teething. Also my 18 month has to get her injections this week so I will be giving her mediced as it works and I am responsible with the dosage - what mother wouldn't be!. Only bad point is not very nice to taste.

Medised Has Been On The Shelves For Years And Was
Medised has been on the shelves for years and was used by my mum for my sister (and possibly me) so naturally I use it for my two children (5 and 16 months). Could not believe, when I went into Boots and they refused to sell it to me for the 16 month old. I said I would therefore buy it for the five year old but the assistant said 'I'm sorry but I still cant sell it to you because you wanted to give it to your youngest originally' ... Is this turning into some kind of nanny state?? I spoke to the doc about this and he basically said it's like anything else .. something happens to one person and the world goes mad!!

Good Information Has Been Given Regarding The Chan
Good information has been given regarding the changes in Medised. I still buy it for my 9 month old, just when she has problems sleeping from teething. It is the only thing that will soothe her. Even though the pharmacist recommended that I not use it, I feel that I can dose responsibly and take the safe measures to administer correctly. It should be up to the parents I think.

Recently Ive Been Told That I Cant Buy This Produc
Recently ive been told that i cant buy this product for my child as shes not 2, where is the information that tells us why this is because Medised certainly wasnt on the published list of withdrawn medicines, and nobody seems to know the reasons as to why we cant buy it anymore, the boxes all say from 3mths and i for 1 find it extremely patronising being told i could overdose my child when im quite aware of the dosage and a very responsible parent! How do other parents feel?

I Am A Mother Of Two Children One Over 2 And One U
i am a mother of two children one over 2 and one under one, i brought medised for both chilren and i was told i can only give it to my oldest child, i have already gave my youngest son of 4 half mounth 2.5 ml to bring he temperture down and to help relief any pain. i was not aware i couldn't give it to him will it halm him any way, and why hasn'nt been alterd on the bottles and boxes, any how come parents have not been told of the changes
Exactly!!! We have been using medised for the last year whenever our daughter has had a bad cold, which has been quite frequent with teething. We tried to buy this medicine today following 2 nights of a bunged up snotty nose and restless sleep, only to be refused by our local pharmacist and tesco pharmacy who'm we,ve always purchased it from before. The bottles still say over 3 months on them! Had we said our child was over 2, they would have handed it over no prolem (she's 21 months) Even after explaining we've used it many times with no ill efects, we couldn't get it again. We'll lie at the next shop!!!!!m

Overall This Medicine Was Good. It Not Only Broug
Overall this medicine was good. It not only brought my 4 month old babies temperature down & helped with her headache from her 2nd batch of innoculations but eased the pain in her gums considerably from teething, the strawberry flavoured liquid was pallatable and the spoon was a good size and shape, so was easy to use. Not the cheapest medicine but worked well
