We went as a family to visit Santa at the Farm Shop & Cafe on Wiggy Road, York as a group with 3 young children,

We duely paid what seemed expensive the £8.00 per child entrance fee as well as the £3.00 Adult fee to see Santa and where told nothing else other than to fill in form regarding what the Children wanted for Xmas, At no point were we told of any wait and the Children spent 5-10 minutes in the entrance looking at the Reindeer they had been advertising,

We then joined the que of people waiting to see Santa Wonderland and it soon became clear that it was going to be a long wait, They staff seemed to be allowing VIP guests (I suspect friends of the Farm Shop and Cafe) to the front of the que and although they had some displays to keep the children occupied after 30 minutes of waiting the que had gone nowhere at all, and seemed completely stagnent,

We continued to wait pa intently however other people further up the que had started to complain and a number of people walked out after waiting for what was around a 1hr in a cold shed !!!, By this time both the Children and myself were getting pretty cheesed off and my partner walked out with her daughter and went to see about getting her money back, I continued to wait as by the point we had been stood for around 2 hrs and the children still wanted to see Santa,

When we finally got to see him I was utterly disgusted, The whole setting was second rate, Santa talked about falling asleep in the chair and after speaking to the children for a couple of minutes told them to pick a present from a pile of junk in the corner (no santa's sack, not even wrapped up !!!), My two children struggled to pick anything as it was utter rubbish and we left via the back door which led through to the Main Farm Shop,

Disgustingly as we walked through the shop the same presents were marked for sale at £3.00 which beside feeling like I had been robbed the Children also saw them and asked why the shop was selling Santa presents,

After getting back in the car my partner then told me that she had struggled to get her money back and the staff member had been rude to her, I by the point was pretty annoyed with the Farm Shop & Cafe so went to track down the manager or owner so I could put these points across,

I ran into a guy called 'John' in the car park and after I pointed out that it was a Shambolic mess he threatened to punch me in front of my Children in the car !!!,

Needless to say I will never visit the 'Farm Shop' on Wigginton Road and Shark Operators such as these should be shut down, I do not recommend ever visiting The Farm Shop and both the Santa Winter Wonderland and the Staff are second rate and let both myself , my kids and I suspect a lot more people down this Christmas,

Please avoid like the plague and tell as many people about this so hopefully next Christmas they are out of buisness and unable to spoil and rip anymore unsuspecting customers off,
