Ok, This Place Is Dead Easy To Find, From The Cent

OK, this place is dead easy to find, from the central roundabout in Whittlesey head up past the shops on the right to the second roundabout, head back down the road and turn left into the layby and you will see this pearl of a shop.

Mr Shipman owns a very busy shop, this is because he sells very good products at very good prices with excellent customer service. His old fashioned approach of ensuring that he knows what he is talking about means that you can depend on the advice he gives you. He has a wide range of guns (air pistols, air rifles, rifles and shot guns), some fishing tackle, tons of shooting accessories and they are also gun smiths.

The prices are very competitive and the service is excellent. We went in to look at air rifles recently, I fell in love with a Webley Stingray II that he had on the shelf, so he let me fire it on his little short range. Well we agreed a price of the rifle and a Hawke Sport 4-12x50 scope (including set up) of £260. My wife had found a Diana 280 carbine, that she fell in love with, so another deal was done, that rifle, a scope (was a Nikko Sterling Mountmaster 3-9x50), a sound moderator and a rifle bag £340!

She then asked if he took trade ins, as she had a little used Gammo 400 with a wood stock. He offered £100, subject to examination of her gun and it was all agreed. We got to his shop and he cast his very professional eye over her gun and agreed that £100 was a fair price on trade in. We got the Stingray II, the Diana 280 (both fitted with x50 scopes), a sound moderator for the Diana, 2 tins of pellets, powermax lube, a box of cleaning pellets and a rifle bag for £580 including the trade in.

His gunsmith service for air rifles costs £50 (includes new spring at that price) for a full strip down and rebuild. Pays to keep your gun in top condition and at that price is less than £1 a week, a little price to pay for having your gun at the peak of it's powers isnt it?

All in all a good place to go and buy a gun from, we will be returning, you can count on it!
