My Local Branch Of Sports World Is Lewisham And I

My local branch of Sports World is Lewisham and I absolutely love it.

This particular branch is very large and based on two floors, on the ground floor you will find menswear, including branded, casual polo tees, hooded tops, knitwear and even smart YSL shirts, a fraction of the price you would expect to pay elsewhere. You will also find childrens (boys) clothes and will be paying as little as £2 for a good quality top. Also on this floor expect to find most of the trainers and footwear, childrens footwear, gifts such as football team mugs, clocks, towels, etc and general sporting equiptment such as balls, bats, etc. On the upper floor this is where you will find practical (rather than fashionable) sports clothes such as team football and rugby strips, football boots, gloves, shinpads, etc. There is even more sporting equiptment here, plus a huge variety of womens clothes and footwear which isn't all sports related, expect to find things such as strappy sandles, wedges, dresses and pretty tops, same applies for childrens (girls) clothes. There are even more gift ideas on the upper floor and a small swimwear, underwear and nightwear section. Even some revolving shelves of accessories including hair grips, earrings, belts and purses.

I love shopping here, especially for my husband and son for holiday clothes, I can expect to pay as little as £40 for a whole seasons wardrobe of good quality clothes including footwear for my two year old son and even have some change left to buy him a football. I paid £2 for some poolside shoes for him and £11 for a pair of Play-Doh Reebok trainers I've seen for £29.99 in other sports shops.

I really cannot find major fault in this store, it does tend to get a little "jumble sale" like, clothes strewn on the floor, clothes not on correct racks. I also find that some of the footwear can be difficult to find if you have to collect the box with your size in from the shelves. If you need a pair of trainers or shoes which are stocked in the storeroom or if you require the changing rooms unlocked, it is sometimes difficult to find a member of staff who isn't in a personal discussion or hiding somewhere to assist you. However, I find that the great prices, value, easy access and parking here very much compensates for that.
