Ordered 2 pairs of berghaus-deluge over-trousers, money taken out of account immediately, no e-mail confirmation, no answer on telephone, no apologies, zero customer service, no refund so contacted my bank and reported them as a fraudulent site,only then did I receive an email stating the goods have been dispatched, that was 10days ago still nothing. Will never use them again and have informed my friends and family to boycott snow+rock.

I ordered an item in the January sale, quick to take my money but no delivery date, suspicious I regularly checked the website and the item was still there, so I optimistically ordered another for my partner. Over a week later I received an email saying 'sorry your order is out of stock, you have been refunded apologies for the inconvenience.' In this day and age I find it hard to believe they cannot keep an update on their stock, especially after seven days. They also have a check store stock functionality on their website which after this experience I would be cautious of. The lack of a delivery notification leads me to believe they knew they had none in stock and were just lazy in updating their website or informing those affected. I find this service unprofessional and from a quick google search to be almost the norm for Snow+Rock. I would not buy from them again, they have incredibly poor customer service and I would recommend a variety of independent retailers in climbing/skiing/mountaineering that have far better quality of service and respect for their customers.

I've made purchases at the Hemel Hempstead store on three seperate occassions and each visit the service I've received has been outstanding.

Snow + Rock have a price-match policy and they really do honour it! I got price-matches on every product I bought from them (found cheaper elsewhere online etc) and I saved about £280 all-in-all.

My purchases were snowboard related and the sales staff I dealt were obviously experienced snowboarders, which helped making the purchases that much easier.

If Snow + Rock stock what I'm after and they keep their 'price-match' policy rolling, then I seriously doubt I would ever bother going elsewhere.
