From the moment that we went into the shop we were put at ease. The salesman listened to what we wanted and gave us lots of time to pour over the different stones that they had.

We were in the shop for around an hour looking at the emaeralds and bands, then went away and came back for another look. We were fathing about but he was good humoured.

I eventually called the next day to confirm that we wanted the ring. It was mid December so they warned that it might not be ready in time for Christmas. We understood this. There was a little confusion in that we were to pay half upfront ant then half on pick up and they took the full amount but this was relatively easily rectified (even though the person that I spoke to did intially seem to think that I was lying about what had been agreed!)

The ring was actually made in around 4 days and I was able to go pick it up without my fiancee knowing! It looks absoultely stunning. Better that I could have imagined. They have managed to set it so the whole stone is lifted and can be seen from all angles.

And the main thing, my lady loves it.
