Floors-2-Go - Pre 28th August 2011

We first purchased about £1000 worth of what we were told was quality Laminate flooring from Floors2Go in Manchester for a renovation project. To our complete shock the flooring started to warp and after mopping even though manufacturers instructions indicated it was mop proof.

We took Floors2Go to court and won Judgement, however we later found the company is a complete shambles and run by 'Rogues' who keep on changing the company name. They are constantly in and out of administration and liquidation so that people find it difficult to sue them - yes many are chasing them for their money back.

Conclusion - stay well away!!! they are liars and rogues who sell poor quality flooring at inflated prices - and you won't get your money back when inevitably it goes wrong.

Purchased flooring worth £600 from f2g in merthyr tydfil and was told that we would have it within 2 weeks, I told the salesman that me and my children were living in the kitchen so needed the floor ASAP, after 6 weeks waiting and hanging on to my money he told me that he can't get the floor and tried to fob me off with a floor I didn't like, I now have to wait 10 days for refund and still haven't gone in. WORDS OF ADVICE DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF YOU,DO NOT LISTEN TO ANY GOOD REVIEWS THE COMPANY DO YOUR RESEARCH AND YOu WILL FINd OUT THE COMPANY HAVE GONE INTO ADMINISTRATION 3 TIMES AND HAVE A VERY BAD REPUTATION, there's not many companies that take your money before you have the goods BE WARNED.

We purchased in Cardiff floors to go on a friday evening and then decided that we could get cheaper elsewhere. We went back to the store on the saturday morning to cancel the order. The staff there told us it was ok but they would need to apply to head office for the refund. We waited for two weeks for them to do this. I was calling them every day during this process but most times their phone was either not working or going to answer phone. They have a fourteen day refund policy but did not call me until the thirteenth day. They then informed me that they do not have a "change of mind" policy so would not give me my money back. £255 paid but nothing to show for it. I even asked for some goodwill to be shown but still they refused. No wonder they have been in administration 3 times if this is how they treat their customers!!!

I ORDERED £900 WORTH OF FLOORING AND WAS TOLD THAT MY ORDER WOULD BE DELIVERED WITHIN A WEEK,5 WEEKS LATER AND I AM STILL WAITING. THE STAFF ARE VERY UNHELPFUL, AFTER SALES ARE SHOCKING; AND DONT BOTHER RINGING AS THE STAFF DONT TO SEEM TO THINK THAT THEY HAVE TO ANSWER THE PHONES. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN ONE EXCUSE AFTER ANOTHER AND TOLD ONE LIE UPON ANOTHER LIE BUT STILL NO JOY SO DECIDED TO GO TO THE STORE IN CARDIFF WHERE I HAVE NOW DISCOVERED THAT THEY HAVE BEEN BOUGHT OUT BY ANOTHER COMPANY BUT STILL TRADING UNDER FLOORS TO GO AND STILL TAKING PEOPLES MONEY. I HAVE NOW BEEN TOLD THAT THE NEW COMPANY WILL NOT HONOUR MY ORDER, FUMING!" PLEASE STAY AWAY DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME.

Ordered a floor from Coventry and promised it would be delivered to them within 2 weeks, phone them to chase it up after the deadline and told it was due in the next day and they would call to let me know, when I called the next time they said it would be delivered that afternoon and they would let me know, but no call back so phoned then next morning to be told it was definitely due in before 12, waited until then and had to call them again to see if it had arrived now to be told unconvincingly that it might be in at the end of the day. Not the kind of service you would expect from such a well known firm.

Very frustrating when you've organised help with fitting it and had to clear out all the furniture and emptying a fish tank based on their promise and reassurance it will arrive.

Do not believe their promises - they will only tell you what you want to hear.

What a caring team. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Great customer service.

Visited floors to go with w view to getting a good deal on new flooring for our whole house. The staff member we dealt with was helpful but not pushy. He helped us chose a really good priced floor and did not just push the expensive floors but gave us advice on what would work for us with our lifestyle. we had a quick, efficient and helpful service. he was also very pleasant to deal with and very professional.

We have just brought a solid oak click system wood floor from Pipps Hill Basildon Branch. The in branch service from the staff and manager was excellent showing us all the options available. We opted for the solid oak lacquered click system. This was the very easiest floor I have ever laid and it looks fantastic.

After being disappointed by the company designated by our insurance company, we went to Floors-2-Go, picked a laminate and staff followed us home to measure up. Everything was ordered the same day and a delivery date was arranged. The fitter arrived bang on time and worked his socks off, quality of his work was fantastic and the house looks brilliant. All I had to do was supply the coffee. The service was brilliant and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Floors-2-Go at Regent Street, Leeds to anyone.

Having bought all my flooring from this company via their local shop and having a good service, when I needed more flooring to match I ordered via the internet site...what a mistake!!. I ordered on a Sunday, the money was taken out of my account on the Monday, I received a phone call on the Tuesday to say my flooring would be delivered on the Friday. Waited in all day Friday, no flooring. I phoned on Saturday and having waited 25 mins to be answered, I was told they would look into this on the Monday as the office was closed on the weekend. I waited for a phone call on Monday, but to no avail. On Tuesday I phoned the company and again had to wait 20 mins in the end I put the phone down and phoned again but this time pressing number 1 for new orders instead of number 2 for existing call, can you believe it I was answered straight away. I asked to speak to the manager but was told all managers were in meetings. I asked the person to look into my order and he gave me his word that I would have a delivery on Thursday, waited in all day Thursday, no delivery. By this time I was getting really annoyed. I emailed the company twice on their web site which states "you will receive a reply shortly" but I have still not received a reply or acknowledgement. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY
