Dreadful quality, Fell apart within 4 months and they blamed me. Rude quality control team. NEVER buying from them again

My boyfriend bought a new suit and shirt. He was measured in-store and had the suit tailored with the store tailor. The tailoring cost 60 GBP. When he returned to collect the suit, we found that the trousers weren't shortened and tapered as he requested, and worst of all, the sleeves on the suit jacket were uneven--one was visibly shorter than the other! All they suggested was that we return to the same tailor for further adjustments--no thank you! We took the suit to a professional, who fixed it to the extent possible, but one sleeve on the jacket still rides up higher than the other. I wrote to TM Lewin complaints about this, and after some negotiation, they agreed to give us a store voucher in the amount we spent on tailoring. We would have preferred a cash refund, and a full one at that (for the jacket at least). However, as bad as our experience was, I must say that the staff in store are very nice.

I have written about the great service of TM before but recently buying a suit I had a terrible service. They wanted me to pay for a suit they did not have in my size and hope I liked it when it came- I refused and waited. I did buynthe suit but they then refused the discount offer I had. I sent a message to their Face Book page and they responded saying they would sort it out and then nothing- I wrote to them again and the same thing.

POOR POOR SERVICE really let themselves down.

Stork 40% - they only stork popular to cheap products in store.

Their prices are just right for the quality they sell from shirts to suits. The only problem is that they do not have all the suits in shop as they do online and it can be a big problem buying online due to the end finish of the products measurements. They only stork reasonably priced or popular products in shop and TM Lewin forget there are some customers that do not want to dress as everyone else or a the popular and would prefer some of those expensive products they only sell online to be available in store. TM Lewin, money is NOT in question when I am looking to buy what I want and feel good in, sort your shop space out.

However, I would always look to buy from TM Lewin first before anyway else, in addition, they have an amazing and respectable refund and exchange policy.

The right size. The shop staff are unwilling to help search through the awful shopfit. Quality is average to below Average but not bad for 25£ and you will get at least 10 wears from it.

I have bought my suits and shirts from TM Lewin for about four years now.

The service is EXCELLENT as soon as you walk in the shop they are ready to help. The quality of the clothing is fantastic the suit I have just bought is superb.

I recommend to anyone that wants to buy a suit to try them-they are expensive but the quality is far better than elsewhere off the rack.

I think the best thing is that if you not happy with a shirt after three months you can return it for another-for any reason I tried this out and not even a question-excellent service.

Overall I quite like TM Lewin. The shirts are pretty cheap for what you get - about £25 each. The final quality is reasonable, but not exceptional - you always have the odd loose thread hanging out and after about 10 wears the shirt starts to look a little worn.

The layout of the shop is quite annoying - so many variations of different styles, different cuts, different sizes that it can become a little bewildering. That said, the staff are pretty attentive and helpful so it just about makes up for it.

Overall, Id definitely recommend TM Lewins - as the price is very good for what you get. I dont think they are the same quality as they were, say 10 years ago, but still a good shirt.

I would highly recommend TM Lewin's off-the-peg men's suits for your work wardrobe. They are well made, durable and reasonably priced. You will find most of the business styles you would expect.
