Let Down Badly

Trusted the company's "deliver by Saturday" pledge and paid £9.95 to make sure I got what I was after in time to surprise my wife (2 days within the cutoff on the website). Now it is Wednesday after that magic Saturday and nothing.

On the Saturday waited in all day and no communication whatsoever.

Still waiting (now Wednesday night after the Saturday).

To make matters worse, my wife ordered a free delivery item after I ordered mine and that one did actually arrive!

Badly let down, wife disappointed and feel like I have been £9.95 ripped off.

An All Time Low For The White Company

Greed has consumed this company who are consistently hiking up their prices but the product quality across the board is deterioating product returns are high, ever wondered what all,the discount codes are for, because prices are so far over the actual manufacturing cost their business model works on a percentage sales at full price offsetting discount purchases but buyer beware even these reduced prices will not come close to the products true value, bedding is made in pakistan , if it says anywhere else the cloth is shipped back into pakistan to be produced , thats why goods dont last the clothes are made on the small size and of poor qaulity again virtually none are made in china or europe, mostly in india or pakistan or indonesia so cheap labour force issues rears its ugly head, also customers money was taken and goods weren't supplied! thats theft.

i think on balance this comapny have got too greedy and product and service is failing and cusumers are being ripped off !

Looks Good, But Bad Quality

EVERY THING I HAVE EVER BOUGHT, IS RUBBISH. YOUR LOVELY FITTED SHEETS FEEL SOFT AND SILKY, BUT WEAR AWAY IN A YR.

2 PAIRS OF JEANS.

1ST PAIR. STITCHING IN MANY PLACES COMES UNDONE. 2ND PAIR THIS SUMMBER. THE FRONT POCKETS, WEAR AWAY. YES HOLES IN THEM AND NOW THE THIGHS WEARING THIN. BLOODY RUBISH. NO QUALITY.

T SHIRT WEARS THIN. AND STRETCHES IN ONE AREA, AS IF A BIG MARBLE WAS FORCED THROUGH IT.

AND YOUR WHITES NEVER STAY WHITE. I DO NOT EVERY MIX ANYTHING WITH WHITE. EVEN IF IT HAD A LITTLE BIT OF BABY PINK IN IT(THAT WOULD BE A THIRD WASH). I.E. DARKS, WHITES AND MIXED.

YOU CHARGE TOP DOLLAR, BUT APPALLING QUALITY. IN FACT, EVEN YR CREAMS AREN'T MOISTURISING. THEY SAY THEY ARE, BUT THEY ARE NOT.

THE ONLY THING IN YR FAVOUR, THEY INITIALLY LOOK GOOD, BUT RUBBISH. I BET PRI MARK CLOTHES WOULD LAST LONGER.

A Very Civilised Shopping Experience

In a world where bad/indifferent customer service has become the norm, it's so refreshing to visit a store where there's space to move around and look at the items for sale. Yes, you do pay for this type of environment and service but quality is good (both clothing and homewares).

Glass Candlesticks Crack When Used!

Received a very pretty pair of glass candlesticks as a wedding gift. Unfortunately things went downhill when we tried to use them. Used the tapered candles from the white company also and as soon as one candle burned down within a few inches of the upper border of the candlestick it cracked!

Sent back as I considered this a defect in the product or at least the lack of info sent with it and have been told it was my own fault and nothing can be done.

Lesson learnt here is 'DON'T BUT THESE FROM THE WHITE COMPANY!'

I Visited The Store To Buy A House Warming Gift Fo

I visited the store to buy a house warming gift for a friend as well as a little something for myself! The store in Marylebone is fairly small, upstairs they have clothing and small accessories and then downstairs they had bedding and gowns.

I love The White Company for their good quality cardigans so quickly picked one out that I liked the look of and found it in my size. Then I started to browse for the house warming gift. An assistant quickly came to ask if I needed any help and then spent a good 15 minutes with me helping to pick out the perfect gift. There was no sales pressure, just advice on what was popular etc. Once I'd picked out the items she took them to the desk for me to gift wrap them free of charge. She was very helpful and lovely to talk to which is always good to come across in slightly more expensive stores in particular.

Although more expensive than your average high street shop, I do feel that you are truly getting what you pay for here.

A Horrible Experience With The White Company. Boug

A horrible experience with the White Company. Bought some of their Carlton glass bedroom furniture. Disaster! The Tapered Cubes went moldy underneath, staining a wooden floor, and the glass on the Carlton dressing table spontaneously chipped when no-one was in the house at all.

The White Company just didn't want to know; they sent an independent advisor who said the mold was 'just dust' (but funnily enough wouldn't touch it or take any away for analysis), they refuse to accept any responsibility, won't give any refunds and so on. We've had to take our dispute to our credit card company and Consumer Direct and we're still out of pocket.

Avoid at all costs! If something goes wrong, you're on your own. The White Company just want your money.
