WE BROUGHT A DRESS FROM SURPRISE SURPRISE BUT WHEN WE GOT IT HOME FOUND THAT IT HAD A RIP IN IT,WE TOOK IT BACK TO THE SHOP AND REQUESTED A REFUND BUT WAS TOLD ALL WE COULD HAVE WAS A CREDIT NOTE,I EXPLAINED THAT UNDER THE SALE OF GOODS ACT 1979 THEY HAVE TO GIVE A REFUND ON FAULTY GOODS.

I AM NOW IN THE PROCESS OF TAKING THE MATTER FURTHER WITH TRADING STANDARDS.

IT TAKES EXPERIENCE AND DECERNING TO APPRECIATE BEST QUALITY.

ONCE DISCOVERED NOTHING ELSE WILL DO.

We recently purchased a men's overcoat for £65 from this store called Surprise-Surprise on Oxford Street in London. Despite it being faulty and an exchange not available, we were not refunded our money, as there is a "store policy" which is written on a piece of paper and kept in a corner where no customer would ever see it! The staff were very unfriendly. When I asked to be put through to the store manager, it turned out that there is no store manager for them! We were made to run from pillar to post, and now we are stuck with a faulty coat for which we paid full price.
