AFTER THE LINING OF A J/V POLKA DRESS CAME APART I CONTACTED J/V. AS DEBENHAMS SWANSEA (THE PLACE WHERE THE DRESS WAS PURCHASED) NO LONGER OFFER AN ALTERATIONS SERVICE AND I HAD TO HAVE DRESS SHORTENED I CHOSE A LOCAL EXPERIENCED DRESSMAKER. WHEN THE DRESS WAS RETURNED IT WAS ONLY THEN THAT I NOTICED THE FAULT IN THE LINING.

I EMAILED J/V WITH A PHOTO ATTACHMENT BUT AS I COULD NOT PROVE THAT THE DRESSMAKER HAD NOT CAUSED THE FAULT I RELUCTANTLY ACCEPTED A £20.00 VOUCHER. (THE DRESS COST APPROX. £135.00)

AFTER WEARING THE DRESS RECENTLY ANOTHER TWO FAULS IN THE LINING HAVE OCCURRED. AT 74 YEARS OF AGE WHILST WEARING THE DRESS I SIMPLY SAT DOWN, GOT UP AND GOT IN AND OUT OF CARS SO DID NOT IN ANY WAY PUT STRAIN ON THE LINING)

I AGAIN CONTACTED J/V BUT THEY HAVE REFUSED TO HELP. IT IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE PURCHASED J/V BUT DUE TO THEIR COMPLETE LACK OF CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMER WILL LOOK ELSEWHERE IN FUTURE.

I was desperately searching for an outfit for my daughters wedding. I went into my local Debenhams store and found this fantastic Jacques Vert outfit, but they didn't have one in my size. However the staff were so helpful, and after a short phone call to their customer services, I had the outfit I wanted sent to my home that very day for free.

Really pleased with my outfit, I just hope I get invited to more weddings so that I get to wear it more often!
