I had gone to a few bridal shops in Cape Town already, so I knew more or less what I wanted. The problem though, was that I could not afford the dresses that I liked.

A friend suggested Bridal Lane, and said that she had recently bought her dress there at a bargain price. I decided to also give it a try - and I'm so glad I did.

It's a home based business, and I think that's what probably helps them to keep the prices down. Yolande and Lynette were lovely - very welcoming and so helpful. Their selection of gowns were stunning and I ended up walking away with the most elaborate, expensive dress they have for ...... wait for it ...... R5900! To say that I am chuffed with my purchase, would be an understatement.

I'm definitely going to recommend them to my friends who are getting married. They've only just started though, so I'm guessing that their selection will expand as time goes on.
