Bravissimo

Being a rather well endowed girl with a rather well endowed daughter Bravissimo is a godsend. The range of bras in larger sizes is impressive and the fact that they aren't just utilitarian but are really rather pretty is a very welcome bonus. As well as bras they sell cup sized swimwear that even my 16 year old daughter will wear and clothes which are cut to fit curvier women. Their prices are probably about the same as elsewhere but if you're lucky you can sometimes pick up a bargain in their sales (particularly so with their swimwear towards the end of the season) Unfortunately I don't live near one of their shops so have to rely on mail order. Now as any woman will tell you buying a bra without trying it on is almost impossible - if you have large breasts it IS impossible. It is therefore very inconvenient to have to pay for your items before they are sent (ie they are not sent on approval) - given that each bra can easily cost £30 this is not a cheap option. On the plus side all returns are free of charge and exchanges are sent out free too (so you only end up paying one set of p&p) It can, however, take months to finally buy three bras! I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to visit one of their stores. One useful feature of their website is that they keep a full record of what you have ordered (including those items which you have returned) so you never have to wonder if you've already tried something or not. I love this company for their products and their customer service - just wish I lived nearer one of their shops.

At last, I have found a shop where they really care!! In the Chester Bravissimo store a lady spent time with me and listened to my problems with underwire bras being uncomfortable in the past due to operation scars. In the end I did buy an underwire one, and it's fantastic. It is so comfortable! I can't wait to go back and buy more, and a swim suit. I am delighted that there is a shop in Chester, as I don't like buying online. It may be an idea for them to advertise the shop more because I just came across it by accident while looking for somewhere else.
