Molton Brown

Since the reformulation I am SO disappointed with MB, they are high street now at best and just a run of the mill product that I am now allergic to after 10+ years of use.

They still smell GREAT but that is no good if they do not do what is expected of them as they used to do. Yuan Zhi (Ylang Ylang) no longer puts me in a tranquil place - rather distracts me to death with dry skin and itching!!!!!

Same has to be said for the others too - if you have allergies or eczema (something that MB used to accommodate) don't use - you'll regret it!!!!!

Molton Brown are great at marketing. Their products evoke a feeling of quality and luxury and so do their shops. I do quite like some of the products; especially warming eucalyptus. However, when I read the ingredients label I was disappointed. Yes, there are a couple of luxury and sometimes exotically sourced ingredients but there are a hell of a lot of nasty chemical ingredients in there too - not too disimilar to the ingredients that youwould find in any supermarket shower gel.

People who are buying luxury bathing products are becoming increasingly concerned with what is in them. Sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates and PARABENS are a big 'no no' nowadays and yet Molton Brown is still plying its products with them. This surprises me.

Come on Molton Brown, you are going to have to up your game somewhat in the near future if you are to hold on to an increasingly ingredient conscious clientelle.

Generally impressed with Molton Stores, although quite luxury items as such premium prices. Bought online for Mother's Day gift as online site looked good. However, delivery service doesn't match service they claim to pride themselves on. £8 next day delivery charge is not worth paying after 12pm on a Friday as your order won't arrive until Tuesday! Expensive delivery charge for poor delivery service compared to other online stores. Would be better if they were clear that although advertising Mother's Day gifts for delivery, they won't arrive in time. Will stick to flowers next year!!

Everything about Molton Brown in portsmouth gunwharf is faultless in terms of the service, value for money and the product. becasue the store is an outlet the prices are alot cheaper and you are getting a lot more for your money. all of the bubblebaths last a long time and in particualr the warming eucalyptus body scrub is amazing - you feel the warmth and tingling from the ginger instantly. would recommed the store to anybody wanting to treat themselves. the store has a nice welcoming and friendly atmosphere too.

I had the shower/bath gel as a present. It smelt disgusting and was full of horrible ingredients. I did not use it as I did not want to smell like cat's pee. Shocked to find it had cost £17. Rubbish that cost a fortune. Suggest you buy from Neal's Yard or similar. I would buy things not tested on animals and with natural ingredients myself.

new website is perfection in online shopping. I can't resist the products, my imagination runs away with me. The clean, modern, minimalist look is 100% improvement on previous site...take a look, what you see is what you get!!! Well done Molton Brown you represent the best of british!

I have visisted stores in London and Glasgow and have both stores very friendly and helpful. The stores are beautiful inside and everything is laid out so you can see everything clearly. I find the product beautifully smelling and last on your skin for hours after use.I have no complaints at all about this product and would recommend this to anyone.

The staff at Molton Brown are probably the most unhelpful I have ever encountered anywhere. I went to the one in Selfridges in Manchester. They looked everyone up and down that walked into their section, as though they hadn't got enough money to pay for it. This really annoys me! I was unsure which one to buy since there was a lot of choice, so I picked a couple up and looked over for help, but they just ignored me and carried on talking. I finally got their attention and chose a product, but they weren't much help.

I would recommend you use Sanctuary products instead.
