Ace Cameras

Ordered a Nikon eyepiece Monday at 1:20 arrived Tuesday 9:45 now that's what I call a very good service, the price was fantastic and so is the eyepiece would not hesitate to recommend ACE to you all, great service and prices keep it up.

I called in at the shop to buy a compact pair of binoculars and I was prepared to pay right up to Leica's prices if necessary. I was given very good advice and shown several new and second hand binoculars which I was allowed to try out, outside the shop. The last pair I was shown trumped the lot, which surprisingly turned out to be a pair of very reasonably priced Avian Lites. Ace cameras are the main dealer of this brand. Altogether a very good relaxed experience and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I live in the midlands, and found Ace offered a good part exchange when I contacted them by phone. I was exchanging a pair of Swarovski binoculars for a pair of Leica. They promised that their offer would stand provided my binoculars were in good condition. When I got to the shop they offered £200 less than quoted over the phone. When I asked what was wrong with the binoculars they said nothing - they had just changed their mind. I walked out in disgust. Just down the road I found another camera / optics dealer and got a good trade in with them. Avoid Ace for part exchange.

Slightly over 2 years ago I searched for an Olympus XZ-1, then just released (magnificent almost-pocket-sized, superb capabilities). Ace Camera was able to help me.

Then, passage of time, I only had a vague recollection of how to find them. However, in almost an impulse-buy, I spotted a Nikon D7100 with 18-200mm lens in a kit at a local warehouse store, and bought it. The supplied camera case is, however, designed for the usual serious amateur with several lenses. I wanted a smaller, more form-fitting case. That led me to search again for Ace Camera.

Found them. They are convenient to Dulles International, and have a large room only containing camera cases!

Not only was the Ace person very helpful, but he noticed that I'd yet to attach the Nikon strap, told me it's a bit tricky, and volunteered to do that for me.

Great inventory, wonderful service! I will someday want additional lenses, and Ace is where I'll look.

I decided on a Leica 90mm macro lens and found Ace Cameras to be the best internet price. After phoning to confirm it was new, unopened in box I paid by Paypal yesterday, arrived today exactly as described.

A very smooth transaction from start to finish, with email and text confirmation of progress through out.

Would definitely deal with again.

They dont reply to messages left on their web site. How are we to find stuff out if they cant be bothered to reply. I hope they go bust just like Jessops.

I needed to purchase an angled view finder for my Dobby. I ordered the type I needed yesterday and it arrived to day! It is now on my telescope waiting for a clear night. Great service from you guys!
