XLS does not do anything for me. I am not going to discredit XLS as it probably works perfectly well for others. Tried Alli and can see a BIG difference with days.

Definite difference in my appetite and can easily eat five smaller meals a day instead of three main.

I am quite impressed with this product and it does work but you need to be prepared for the side effects

I was really disappointed in this product especially after all this media hype. It does contain orlistat but the overall it is too subtle to get any results, you'll have to stick to for lifetime to get results..

Hoping that just consuming Alli would be fool hardy, you also need to combine it with regular exercise or else it won't work. the effects also take time to show, it would be atleast a month before you start losing weight.

I have been using alli for 3 months now and have been able to shed close to 4 pounds of weight. One of my friends too has taken the pill and he has been able to achieve the figure of 6 pounds.

Alli works differently with different body types but can definitely have an effect on your weight

I HAVE BEEN PRESCRIBED THE HIGHER DOES OF ALLI WHICH IS DOUBLE STRENGTH OF THE ONE YOU CAN BUY OVER THE COUNTER.BECAUSE OF AN UNDERACTIVE THYROID I FIND IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOSE WEIGHT .AFTER 2 MONTHS OF TAKING IT I HAVE LOST 10LBS!!! I bought this from a pharmacist in the summer, but could not even last a week on it. I had very unpleasant side-effects, not like the common ones described. I felt ill, I was constipated and generally very uncomfortable. I had no energy and felt extremely tired on it. I did lose some weight as I completely lost my appetite, but it did such a number on my intestines that I had to stop and would never think the increased weight loss was worth the distress. Even though I took it for less than a week, it took me at least two weeks to start feeling normal again.

Obviously not everyone is affected like I was, but I would recommend caution in chosing this.

Have been on Alli now for about 8 weeks. Was a little worried at first when I first saw the side effects on going to the loo - dayglo orange! - but do feel it has given my low fat diet a boost. Firstly, this Alli Weight Loss product is only available through a pharmacy to overweight people (bmi over 25). The reason this product is contolled like this is because there is clinical evidence that this drug works. In fact it is a lower dose of orlistat - a drug which is available on prescription only for the obese. All very encouraging. The drug works preventing the body from breaking down and absorbing fat after each meal. There are some unfortunate side effects as a result of this (see bad points). The pack I bought (from boots online) came with a free booklet which was full of advice and helpful information about watching fat intake. Also with the pills you are provded with a free mini carry case with space for 3 pill so that you can carry them around easily. Taking these tablets has worked for me and I have been losing weight for the past 5 weeks at a much quicker rate than I expected. To me the only important point about these pills is that they work and they are safe! Works very well and speeds up weight loss. Definately recommend.
