I took the traveller's optibac as I wanted to ensure I didn't get Delhi belly while holidaying in India. I had used them in Egypt a couple of years before and had not been ill, but I wasn't sure if it was just a coincidence.

I travelled with a group of people and over 50% of them were moderately or severely ill. Amongst the people who weren't ill, one person ate mostly crisps and biscuits and a couple of others had "off" tummies but nothing serious. I had NOTHING, I was completely fine all the time.

Don't travel without these!You only need to take one a day so no having to remember to take them at each meal.

Excellent product! Read reviews stating they worked immediately but did not really believe it. Very pleasantly surprised to discover that all reports are true. Had been suffering a particularly bad bout of IBS and bought these in desparation. Symptoms started to resolve immediately and have not returned. Cannot recommend these highly enough. Wish I had discovered them a long time ago. Initially thought product was expensive but cannot put a price on the change in my life. Worth every penny and will continue to use Optibac products to maintain health.

Tried this product recently (4 days ago) and can honestly say it is one of the best probiotics I have ever used. And I have used a lot. Have suffered with irritable bowel syndrome for years, and more recently (2 weeks)candida. Used For Bowel Calm in combination with BioNutri Ecobalance to get rid of the candida and it has absolutely worked. More importantly, the For Bowel Calm has (so far) cured my IBS. I wasn't sure what time to take the For Bowel Calm so I emailed Optibac through their website and the response was the best I have ever received. The chaps name was Jacob and he actually took the trouble of looking up the Ecobalance and suggested I take them away from each other and there was so much technical detail in the email. Optibac probiotics are a fantastic rang of products and are money well spent. I had a serious c-diff infection of the bowel back in 2009 and spent months in and out of hospital with great amounts of treatment. Then i came across 'for bowel calm' which i have taken every single day without fail for the last two and a half years. I really believe that These probiotics help me to stay as well as i can be and would recommend to anyone who has c-diff or any other bowel condition. The best probiotics by far!

brilliant products brilliant team makes for fabulous immunity

I am normally very sceptical of these things but this product actually works (well for me it did). It gets rid of old waste and is putting good bacteria in your tummy to get thigs moving but not in a laxitive kind of way. I ended up with a flat stomach by taking this as well as living a semi-healthy lifestyle (moderate eating and exercise). Hint: put the powder into the water not the other way around. Tastes ok.

My Experiences

Digestion: One of the things I hate about having to take so many different medications and painkillers are the affects they have on my stomach and digestion. Without going into too much detail my digestion has improved so much since taking the probiotics. My digestion over the last few years has been very erratic but after just a few weeks taking the probiotics I am much more regular, which must mean my intestines are a lot healthier

Immunity: It is very difficult to judge the effect the on my immune system after just a month (other than the fact that I haven't had any colds or bugs). I believe it can only have had a good effect though; my immune system is very low so even a slight improvement would be a bonus.

Energy: This is another area that I can't say 100% if my energy levels have improved, as due to my M.E they are very up and down anyway, and can be affected by how much I've done in previous days, how many painkillers I've had to take etc. The only thing I can say is that I've had more 'good' than 'bad' days this month, but whether this is down to the probiotics or not is hard to say.

Skin: This is the area that I've noticed the biggest improvement. I've had eczema since I was a baby, although it is a lot better now than during my childhood, and I often have flare-ups. My skin seems a lot calmer now, with fewer flare-ups and sore, red patches. It looks a lot healthier, is less dry and it feels less itchy and sore too. I've not changed anything in my skincare regime over the last month, so I can only put the improvements down to the probiotics.

Overall: Brilliant! I wasn't expecting such a change so quickly. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone who’s health and wellbeing needs a boost.

Excellent products. Can highly recommend. I have been taking the Extra-Strength having been on high-dose antibiotics and they have been a godsend. Service was superb too - swift delivery. That's it really - good ethical company; good products; do what they say on the tin!
