St Michaels Hotel and Spa, Falmouth

Badly run hotel with badly trained staff. Beautiful location. The spa practitioners were very good and helpful but the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Very junior hotel receptionist recited rules to us rather than welcoming us and we couldn't find anyone to serve us in the bar for a cup of coffee on arrival so gave up. Very disappointing as the advertising suggests a much more luxurious and extensive service experience. Bit like going to a seaside guest house in a British comedy film!! "Don't wash your knickers in the bidet!!!!"
