TENS machines are basically used as a method of pain relief during pregnancy. They send small electrical shocks through your back which helps to relieve pain.
We bought the Elle TENS machine for the birth of our first child and my wife found it absolutely fantastic, particularly during the early to mid stages of labour.
It has a lot of settings you can use, which at first looks quite daunting but actually is really useful to up the charge as and when you need it. It also has a 'boost' button for extra power - which was used a lot!
Id recommend trying the product out before the 'big day' so you're familiar with how it works.
Its at the pricier end of TENS machines (about £60) but really, really worth the investment based on our experience of using it
