Sauflon New Day

I wore these lenses for some time, but after a while they began to irritate my eyes and make them very dry to the point where they became almost unbearable in the afternoon...I just couldn't wear them anymore. I think it was as a result of a change in my lifestyle, where I spent more time working in front of the computer...However, I just don't believe these lenses are designed to keep up with the needs of today's wearers. I've recently swapped to Acuvue lenses and they've made a world of difference.

Sauflon seem to be a very poor version of the other manufacturers like johnson and johnson and Coopervision. Lots of opticians see to make money from selling them and the lenses I tried were really thick and I felt the lense everytime I blinked. Definitely advise trying lots of lenses rather than being forced into buying this lens. The other thing you find with sauflon is that are rarely available from other opticians so you end up with a contact lens that the optician can charge you what they like for...

The new lens I'm trying 1 day acuvue moist for astigmatism is so much more comfortable and I can keep it in for longer (10 hours a day)

I have just started wearing these lenses and find them to be excellent. I have used a number of different lenses over the last 5 years and have recently been using Focus Dailies which are extremely comfortable but the vision I get from them is not brilliant. I have difficulty with the long distance and on a golf course I can not see the ball in flight. Since switching to these the vision is infinitely clearer and I would definitely recommend them. They are hardly available online and the dealers who do sell them are charging almost double the price I pay at Specsavers for exactly the same lenses despite claiming huge reductions on optician's prices.
