Dr. Rivas Has A Severe Lack Of Delivering On What He Claims.
I would never go to this guy again! Not all Mexican dentists are bad, but this one sure was a very bad choice.
Fortunately I had the exact opposite experience. I just had 3 procedures done at PV Smile and Dr. Rivas was outstanding. He was very kind, his staff professional and the quality of work was superb. Additionally it was less than 1/3 of what I would have paid in the U.S.

I Wish Dental Departures Had Sent Me To A Better Dentist Than Pvsmile
Dental Departures connected me to PVSmile in Mexico. TOTAL FIASCO
NIGHTMARE! PVSmile promises crowns in 4 days. I paid cash in full, on
day 4 the person I dealt with said crown will be all finished on day 5. I returned day
5, he made excuses, promised for next day. Day 6 more excuses, again
promised ready next day! Day7, he said it’ll be done on Day 8, just A
FEW HOURS BEFORE MY DEPARTING FLIGHT! Stressful!!! Day 8 he put on a
supposedly Zirconium crown which CRACKED IN 1 HOUR!! I rushed back to
PVSmile, just hours until my flight to U.S.. The same Dr put on a
temporary, said he’d send a crown by mail, and that I can cement it on
myself. A FEW WEEKS LATER it arrived, without cement. Dental Departures
helped convince PVSmile to cover the cost of having his mailed crown
cemented by a dentist here. The Dr GREEDILY sent LESS than even that,
via Pay Pal, and he put a 21 DAY HOLD ON FUNDS. I took his mailed crown
to the U.S. Dentist, she showed me how the crown absolutely, terribly,
mis-matched, 3mm gaps on all margins, too wide on sides, impossible, she
tried for 1 hour. That evening she emailed the Dr. I dealt with and sent photos
too. After again complaining to D.D. about how PVSmile got me stuck in
this fiasco, the Dr. grudgingly agreed to cover only half the cost for
a normal quality crown, since factually, I still need to replace this
temporary that’s been on my tooth for 6 weeks now! I insisted on Western
Union this time, no 21 day hold. The Dr. sent ONLY HALF of what it
will cost me to resolve this fiasco he caused. He also tried to
get the PayPal funds bounced back to him (Because of the 21 day hold he put on the funds, I had to pay out of my pocket to the dentist
here for her attempted fitting the mailed junk crown), however, Pay
Pal backed me when I explained this nightmare the Dr caused me.
PVSmile is 100% NOT WORTH THE PROBLEMS, EXCUSES, AND VERY SUB-STANDARD
WORK.
