I Found That The University Of Plymouth Was A Fant
I found that the University of Plymouth was a fantastic choice, near the sea, great nightlife, beaches close by, theres a plethora of nature reserves if your interested in photography etc.
The university itself was a busy and exciting place to be, all the tutors and students were very easy to talk to and friendly, the place had a very exciting atmosphere and there was a great sense of student union so to speak.
The course I took (media studies) was excellent and although I cannot comment on the whole course as I had to leave due to personal reasons, I would have to say that I loved everything about this university.
Even though I was there for only a year I still managed to make friends I still very close with now even though I now live 250+ miles away.
The only downside to the univesity is that its miles away from friends and family if you live in the north, but then again they can always visit ;-)
In all its a fantastic place to be and if your about to attend there - HAVE FUN, I know I did.
