Lancaster, County

I loved my stay at Lancaster University, and it wouldn't have been the same if I hadn't stayed in County College. County College is again split up into different sections. I was in county main, which encircles the infamous county tree. Lancaster is different to most Universities, as everything is on Campus; including lectures, tutorials and accommodation, and you have the option to stay here for the entire duration of your studies.

At county main there are two long corridors which house your separate rooms, each fitted with a wash basin and both these corridors join up to a kitchen which can be shared with up to 26 other people, so you are never alone and you always have someone to chat to. The kitchen is the main communal area of the flats. And they are enormous with plenty of room to put everything; lots and lots of cupboards, fridges and freezers and a big table for everyone to sit around. You also have shared bathroom facilities with toilets and showers, one for girls and one for the boys. The bar is literally 1 minute away, and boasting 9 bars on campus you need not go anywhere else the entire time you are there!

I loved my stay at County College, and I would defiantly recommend it to others!
