Before I started at Newcastle Uni I was unsure about whether or not to go. I had been thinking about a career change especially since I had been let down by other Uni's that I tried to get into, Newcastle wasn't my first choice but once visiting the Uni I was looking forward with a more positive view on what to do with my life rather than sat confused about what my next step would be. Anyway I got accepted for an interview and on that day I realized how lucky I was... The uni is massive! It truly is a beautiful old building, however with the aspect of modernness about it. Considering I was new to Newcastle I never really fully appreciated how lucky I was as I suppose I was nervous about being in a new surrounding. I very quickly became to love the place, beautiful well kept lawns, great facilities, friendly staff, but most of all, the feeling of respect and treatment of adulthood was very powerful even from my first interview which I felt throughout the next few years I had at Newcastle Uni. I began to not only love Newcastle University but the city too as the nightlife is brilliant which concludes my brief review of Newcastle University. It's a place where I have made some of the best friends I will probably ever meet, and it's a place I could therefore never forget.
