Leaving A-levels with good results and the desperate desire to study anywhere apart from the UK. Long and hard searching brought me to the University of Technology in Delft, The Netherlands. Now in my 2nd year of Aerospace Engineering, great study. The Dutch are nice people, speak great English and are very welcoming. The beer and food are a bonus to the very high standard of teaching. This will sound stereotypical, but the cheese is awesome. It seriously makes you see how horrendous cheddar is and how bad the dutch imports are we get in our Tesco's and Morrisons!Another advantage is that with the good infrastructural system of the Dutch and flights being available very cheap, I can be back in Liverpool within a few hours. I really recommend this university and also studying abroad in general.
